Escape the bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and head straight to the countryside. Unlike standard big-bus tours, our Small Group van navigates the traffic faster, getting you to the site before the massive crowds arrive (for the morning slot). Watch the cityscape fade into rice paddies and rubber plantations. Your guide will provide an introduction to the Vietnam War (American War) context, setting the scene for what you are about to witness.
Upon arrival, watch a short documentary (a relic from the war era) before heading into the jungle. - Discover how a 200km underground web was built using simple tools. - See the ingenious and terrifying traps used during the conflict. - Experience the claustrophobic reality of tunnel life by crawling through a safe section of the tunnel (widened for visitors). Note: Crawling is optional; you can walk above ground if you prefer. For those interested in military history, there is an opportunity to fire real weapons (AK-47 or M16) at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (bullets are at your own expense). Before leaving, sit down to taste boiled tapioca with sesame salt and hot pandan tea—the actual diet that sustained the Viet Cong fighters in the tunnels.
Relax in the cool van as we drive you back to your hotel.

Today we went on the half day tour with Vincent. The tour was better than we hoped for. From the start Vincent is a great communicator. Gave solid history and could answer anything thrown at him. The art on the way was a nice break in the drive and we bought a beautiful piece home. The tour itself was a reminder of the horrors of war but didn't feel too heavy. The tunnels were incredible. The whole way Vincent participated with us but it never felt like a chore for him. Would defo recommend.

It was a good side excursion from HCMC to see a bit of history. The tour guide Ms. Thuyen was very knowledgeable and friendly, which made both the journey and destination very enjoyable.
The tour was very fun and informative. I enjoyed duck walking through the tunnels although I had a slight claustrophobic feeling. Our tour guide Ms. Thuyen was very entertaining and kind. Her english grammar was excellent. Would recommend her to any english speaking people.
