Just outside Ho Chi Minh City, visitors can crawl through the tunnels, see hidden traps, and learn how the Viet Cong lived underground. Meet and Pick up: In the morning 8:00-8:30 AM | In the afternoon: 12:30-13:00
Drive to Cu Chi (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). On the way, some guides provide historical context or play a short documentary. Arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels. Short introduction and viewing of a wartime propaganda video (~10 minutes).
Guided walking tour of the Cu Chi site: Crawl through sections of the tunnel network (optional) See trapdoors, booby traps, underground bunkers, air vents, and hidden entrances Visit a camouflaged fighting bunker, meeting room, hospital, and kitchen areas Demonstration of how weapons and traps were made using wartime materials
Optional activities: Shooting range: Fire AK-47s or M16s (extra cost) Taste traditional boiled cassava and hot tea
Return drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Drop-off at hotel or central location.
