The Cu Chi Tunnels network was built within 25 years from 1948 during the war against the French. It served as a means of communication between villages and helped the Vietnamese to evade scouting French soldiers. The tunnel network was extended over an area of 250 kilometers during the Vietnam War. Therefore, it became one of the important parts of Viet Cong fighting troops’ strategy and also the home for thousands of soldiers. Travel by bus & boat and bike discover Village. 7:00–07:30am: Your guide ‘ll pick you up at your hotel and departing to Cu Chi tunnels Driving to reach Cu Chi village, you know more details how Viet Cong build it, how we could win the war when we lacked everything even food, medicine and exactly what happened in that area during the war time. The Cu Chi Tunnels provided safe haven for soldiers and thousands of Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. 11:30am: Finishing the CuChi Tunnels tour and keep moving to Mekong delta.
12:30pm: Enjoy a barbecue and you'll learn how to cook from a local chef 2:30pm: Getting on a boat and moving on the Mekong river to head the bee farm. You have chance to enjoy the honey tee and taking photo with the python and finger banana – the typical things in Mekong Delta. Relaxing your mind by rowing boat on small, peaceful canal to get into local house of culture for enjoying “Đờn Ca Tài Tử” – A specific characteristic of Southern culture then visiting the coconut candy factory to see how the farmer makes coconut sweets 2:00pm: On the way back your bus, you pass the fishing village with lots of floating houses to take a look the fisherman’s life. 4:30pm: Returning back to Ho Chi Minh city. End of the tour at your hotel

Great experience and Great Tour! Everything was good and the Best one was our Guide HIEU was full of energy throughout, shedding fascinating light on the history of Ho Chi Minh City with great enthusiasm. The itinerary was impressive as well—effectively squeezing a holiday-long list of activities into the span of just a day. The only drawback was that they were unable to pick us up from—nor send us back to—our hotel,Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel. I loved all the places we went to and would do it again next time

We wish we could even live here! One of our most interesting thing we’ve done in Vietnam trip was Mekong delta day tour after Cu Chi tunnel. We did Cu Chi underground tour in the morning, listened to tour guide told us a lot about Vietnam and war period, got plenty of understanding about how tough but glorious history this country has been through. And immediately right then, a fun driving alongside beautiful Saigon suburbs led us to Mekong river. Got into the small boat, see thousands of things for selling and buying, colourful “floating life” of those kind people, tranquil flow brought us from this to that different surprises! We liked the best the way people live there and we wish we could stay here on those boats for 1 more years to peace our mind out of hustle Chicago. There we go! And we definitely come back to that lovely place, for sure!

Accidental trip with friends, first experience on a boat tour to see the river, see first-hand the gifts of water coconuts still on the tree, experience making coconut candies and enjoy free coconut candies . A very enjoyable experience
