We booked a boattrip and breakfast for myself and my wife, for her 50rh birthday. Got to Waterfront Charters and was issued with boarding oass for boat, as well as breakfast voucher for Quay 4, to the value of R264.00. Boattrip was amazing, with very friendly and attentive staff and skipper. Back in harbour, we made our way to Quay 4 for breakfast. Here we where told that although the vouvher was for R264.00 for 2 people, we where only allowed a choice of one of 3 items on a sprecial menu. None of these added up to the voucher amount. All where for a lessor amount. They explained that I should talk to the tour operator. At Waterfeont Charters I was directed to an email adress. One of the ladies there explained that a portion of the voucher for breakfast a Quay 4, also included a portion of the boat trip???? Can someons please explain to me, why I would be issued with a voucher for R264.00, when I am linited to a set menu, not adding up to the voucher amount. Regard Nicky Uys 0824126492
We were the only ones at the boat and the staff was incredibly nice. We had a great fun with lots of prosecco, good conversation with the guide and spotting seals in the sea!
The cruise itself was wonderful. The crew and service were great. The Prosecco was good. The problem was the breakfast. Seated and not acknowledged for 20 minutes. The waitress took our voucher and never saw her again. After another 20 minutes got another server. In all it was almost a painful 2 hours when we got the into the restaurant until we settled the bill (paid for water and a second cup of coffee). They took a while to find the voucher the first waitress took. I will say the food was very good.
Great ride, weather was not great but we agreed to go ahead with the cruise. I would suggest checking the weather prior.
We had an amazing experience on the cruise with excellent customer service. Daniel made sure we were comfortable and assisted us whenever we needed his help. He was really friendly and we loved his hospitality. It was an amazing experience to be repeated again next time we come here.
