Cotswolds and Oxford Small-Group Tour from Bath

Description
Walking through the Cotswolds is like stepping into a landscape painting. Beautiful green colors, lush waterways, and flower-framed cottages. It goes without saying that Oxford deserves no introduction. As inspiring as it is fascinating, this city is filled with students, spires, and college halls straight out of Hogwarts. Explore these cobbled streets and discover the untold stories hidden around every corner.

Itinerary
Departing Bath at 9:00am, you leave for your first destination passing through North Wessex Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Here you have time to explore the precincts of the many colleges, climb to the vantage points to admire the skyline, or see the art and antiquities collections in the Ashmolean Museum.
Next you stop in Burford, the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a proud little market town. The main street is lined with all those quaint properties that you’ve dreamt of owning. You have time here to take in the local charm and hospitality; and if you’re hungry, you can try a traditional English ‘Afternoon Tea’.
This place was described by William Morris as the prettiest village in England, and Henry Ford wanted to dismantle it and ship it back to the USA. You have time here to stroll to the famous and fairytale-like Arlington Row.
After a full day exploring the city of Oxford and the villages of the Cotswolds, you embark on the comfortable return journey to Bath.

Good Tour visiting a lot of different places, starting off with Oxford and then passing through famous villages in Cotswold
The trip was enjoyable. Dan was a great guide. I wish we had more time to visit the colleges.
We learned so much on the bus the driver kept us entertained with local knowledge and tales. Oxford was a beautiful city and the villaged picturesque
I partook on this small group tour yesterday sans partner as he was sick, so I went solo. Our tour guide Alan was so full of English charm and sarcasm, the whole ride was full with British idiosyncrasies and lore, fun facts and personal stories which truly made the trip special. In Oxford I wrote the wrong return time down for when we had to be back at the bus, making me 20 minutes late and I felt absolutely horrendous, but Alan did not make me feel bad for a second. The fact that he didn’t leave without me when he had every right to, I would’ve been stranded all alone. Not only that but we were able to laugh about it for the rest of the day. Alan made me feel right at home on his tour and gave me plenty of life advice too. I recommend this tour highly, not just for the beautiful sights and history, but for Alan who treats you like a human and takes the time to make every person’s experience special. Thank you Alan!
Too much to see in too little time, otherwise wonderful. Our guide, Tom, was knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the a/c!
Good day trip. Tom was really informative and cordial. Good stops and directions to enjoy each of the locations.
Our driver and travel guide Tom kept telling us stories and history along the way, not only for our villages and Oxford stops, but also for the sites that we did not have time to stop. He made this fun and enjoyable. This is a wonderful trip.
I had an excellent tour with Euan. He was right on time, very well prepared, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. His driving was safe and relaxed, which allowed us to take in the beautiful scenery without any worries. Euan shared great insights about the area, making this the perfect way to start discovering Oxford and the Cotswolds.
It included around 2,5 hours free walk in Oxford with good walking instructions and two stops in small pittoresqe Ciotswald willages.
Excellent tour, it is an outdoors activity so make sure to bring comfortable shoes and umbrella just in case
