Our coasteering experience with Patrick was a fabulous. He was an encouraging instructor/guide without making anyone feel pressured. He made the whole experience so much more enjoyable because of his enthusiasm, good nature & interesting stories & facts about the local area & wildlife. I did a first time coasteering session with my sister and cousin last week. We chose Cornish Waves as Jay (owner) was very quick to respond to enquiries and was very informative. On arrival, we were introduced to our very knowledgeable guide Patrick. Despite there being only 3 of us, with a separate group of 13 lads, Jay had employed Patrick as our guide only, so that we didn't have to join the 13 lads. Patrick explained that the ratio is 1 guide per 8 people and in other companies, they may have put us with the larger group to save paying for another guide. However Jay had made the decision to keep it separate. Due to his decision, I felt we had the best experience we could have had. The coasteering itself was great and Patrick guided us all the way. There was no pressure to do anything we didn't want to do and we felt thoroughly supported during the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Superb experience. Ended up just being me and my son. We were looked after, encouraged, challenged. Experience was great and can't beat jumping into the Cornish sea off the Newquay coast. Fun for all ages and different level of challenge where you want it.
