This tour begins with a ride on the Corinth Canal, which was constructed in 1893. From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth's isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls. 20 minutes at the Canal and 40 minutes drive to reach our next stop
Next stop is Mycenae, where you can walk in the ruins of its citadel and feel the vibrations of the past times climbing up on top of its hill. You will visit the archaeological site, entering through the Lions Gate, see the royal palace and admire the splendid view.
The Treasury of Atreus or Tomb of Agamemnon is a large tholos or beehive tomb on Panagitsa Hill at Mycenae, constructed during the Bronze Age around 1250 BC.
Palamidi is a fortress in the town of Nafplio in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Nestled on the crest of a 216-metre high hill, the fortress was built by the Venetians during their second occupation of the area (1686–1715).
Free time to stroll amongst the town's shops where you can buy handmade souvenirs for your family/friends and also free time for lunch. 1 hour and 30 minutes free time at Nafplio and 30 minutes drive to reach our next stop
The Sanctuary is the earliest organized sanatorium and is significant for its association with the history of medicine, providing evidence of the transition from belief in divine healing to the science of medicine.

The museum is noted for its reconstructions of temples and its columns. 30 minutes at the museum and about 2 hours drive to return to Athens.

This was the worst private tour that I had ever booked with Viator. The driver had a dearth of knowledge that he shared with us. Totally a disaster- would do better by hiring a Uber driver. Don’t waste your time or money in this tour. Also Viator doesn’t stand behind their bookings. Avoid at all cost- try a different tour group.

Our driver is a professional with many years of experience and has provided this tour many times with exceptional reviews. In addition, you could optionally book a licensed tour guide to accompany you to the sites, but we did not receive such a request. This is also explicitly stated on our product page. Concluding, our opinion is that if you had read carefully the details of the product you purchased, your review would be more accurate and would have helped other travelers. We try very hard to provide best-in-class services and we think this is not an indicative review for our services. Your problem from the beginning was the cost and you were negative during the whole tour. You could have made a different choice as you knew the price when booking this product. This was actually our 2nd private transfer with LS tours during our time in Greece. We were greeted with the best tour guide around, Alex, who shared his knowledge that brought the beautiful scenery of antiquity to life. We had another wonderful meal with recommendation by Alex with wonderful views of Nafplio with a gelato treat to end! Although we had seen Alex 2 days prior in the same vehicle, he greeted us on this day with a spotless vehicle and provided waters! Alex knew all of the special places to show us on the journey that I'm not sure just any tour guide would know. LS tours is certainly top notch.

This is the 3rd tour I’ve booked with LS Tours and the experience has always been great. Good communication and quick replies to queries.
