This tour begins with a ride on the Corinth Canal, which was constructed in 1893. From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth's isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls.
Ancient Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, one of the most famous and visited cities of Greece. The city is located in the South West of the Peloponnese surrounded by mountains that take their name from the ancient town. The most renowned monuments are: Temple of Apollo, Bema of Saint Paul and Roman Odeon.
Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth, is a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient city of Corinth. It is the most impressive of the acropolis of mainland Greece.
The Archaeological Museum of Corinth houses a large collection of artifacts from the local site and from smaller sites in the neighboring area. 1 hour at the museum and 1 hour drive to reach our next stop
Palamidi is a fortress in the town of Nafplio in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Nestled on the crest of a 216-metre high hill, the fortress was built by the Venetians during their second occupation of the area (1686–1715).
Free time to stroll amongst the town's shops where you can buy handmade souvenirs for your family/friends and also free time for lunch. 1 hour and 30 minutes free time at Nafplio and 30 minutes drive to reach our next stop
The Sanctuary is the earliest organized sanatorium and is significant for its association with the history of medicine, providing evidence of the transition from belief in divine healing to the science of medicine.
Be captivated by the world-renowned theater, one of the most popular archaeological sites in Greece and an UNESCO’s World Heritage listed monument.
The museum is noted for its reconstructions of temples and its columns. 30 minutes at the museum and about 2 hours drive to return to Athens.

Wonderful trip. George was one of the best guides I have had after traveling the world for 30 years. Very punctual, friendly with great historical and insider knowledge. Trip was tailored to us and was very comprehensive. Vehicle and driving was top notch. This particular trip was an amazing experience of some of the best historic sites in Greece. Highly recommended for seeing an area of Greece outside of Athens, but not too far out. I would highly recommend as an add on to a trip to Athens. Scenery is spectacular. It made our trip so much better than the typical quick trip to the parthenon, then off to the Greek islands.

Great excursion! We really wanted to see the Corinth Canal but the cruise excursion we scheduled got canceled due to maintenance on the canal. Outstanding experience. Our guide was very friendly, told a lot historical or just interesting facts about places we passing. Since we was good in timing, we had some stops for shot and look around even beyond what was expected, like the oldest bridge or Corinth Acropolis. We really enjoyed tour and i highly recommend it.

We highly recommend this experience! Truly a highlight of our 12 day Greek Adventure! Our guide was committed to giving us the best experience possible and he sure delivered! It ended up being a 12 hour day, with a variety of experiences that we thoroughly enjoyed! We were expecting to share a minibus, but instead had a private tour. Georgio our driver spoke excellent English thankfully and we had a really fun day as a result. Locations were varied and interesting and we didnt feel the time pressure of a coach trip. Very relaxed and enjoyable trip!
