Description
Most cooking classes put you in front of a stove and call it authentic. This one starts before the kitchen even begins. We pick you up from your accommodation and take you to a real local market, where you shop for fresh ingredients with your chef, just like Moroccan families do every morning. Back at the kitchen, you cook everything from scratch on a traditional Moroccan charcoal stove. A slow-cooked chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives, two classic Moroccan salads, and fresh bread you knead and bake yourself. Your chef then walks you through the Moroccan tea ritual, one of the most beautiful hospitality traditions in the world. You do not watch. You cook, you pour, and then you sit down and eat everything together at the table. Before you leave, a small surprise gift is waiting for you.

An experience at the top!! The team at the top! The warm welcome, we felt like family and not like tourists;-) The cook took us to a small authentic market and took the time to explain everything. How to choose vegetables chicken, spices and fruits. Return to the Riad for lunch preparation. The cook explained the recipe and we attacked the dish! We had a great time with her we were studious but in a super nice atmosphere. We were able to enjoy our dishes and dessert on the beautiful terrace and we feasted well! We had done two other courses in Marrakech other than House of Cooking and it is for us the best of all! Value for money great and a pedagogical course and where you take your time to learn, exchange and eat:-) We recommend 100% and give 10 stars!! We'll be back! Thank you to the whole team!
