This tour feels respectful. Any question is ok, and multiple viewpoints are presented. I feel like this tour was incredibly valuable for me personally and for my son. Our tour guide Vid was very kind to my 9-year-old and we were able to get some very important history lessons all while seeing the city too. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I’m so thankful it is offered. It motivates me to keep learning Croatian and keep learning history.
Darko was very knowledgeable regarding all the topics presented. He was extremely thoughtful and made sure that your money is well spent. He is also very punctual, finished on time with no issues. He also allows for extra time to ask questions or share thoughts with every part of the tour and after the tour. 100% would recommend if you’re in Zagreb.
A fantastic and enlightening tour on the history of Croatia, with particular focus on Zagreb. Would highly recommend to anyone (including fellow members of the diaspora) wanting to understand Croatia more!
Doris is an excellent expert on the history of the wars in Croatia and speaks perfect Spanish. Very educational and very attentive.
Really exciting experience. Very competent guide. Vid, that's his name, was passionate and skilled at mediating. It is definitely recommended if you want to learn more about Zagreb and the history of Croatia.
An informative, accessible, articulate and engrossing look at Croatian history. A real highlight of my time in Zagreb. I can’t recommend it enough. Great guide, great information… and a superb conclusion. This isn’t a “fun” walking tour [the topic prevents that] but it’s something really special. If you’re in town – book this tour.
We (friends from 21-24) booked the tour spontaneously after a regular walking tour in the morning. Conclusively: great decision!!!! Cristina has a lot of knowledge about Croatia’s history and she shares it from a local perspective. Nevertheless, her points of view are well reflected very well explained! If you like European (balkan) history and would like to broaden your horizon: 10/10 recommendation!
it was great! so many interesting informations, facts, personal insights, we could see so much of the city. I can totally recommend!
Rich and interesting narrative and tour of a fascinating and complex history. Made for an excellent start for our two-week trip in the area.
The tour with Katja was fantastic, the route makes you feel like you are in every era she narrates and she handles the information very fluently. Her personal experience and that of her family make the tour more than just a tourist route, it is a very human display of what this country has lived through during its most recent history. She answers all your questions, she is very, very kind and cordial and makes you feel very comfortable. 100% recommended
