Visit Coimbra in a one day tour, starting by trying the best suckling pig in Portugal (Lunch Included), where it is original from, after that, start your city sightseeing by visiting the university of Coimbra, see the beautiful view you have from there and its beautiful Library, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Then continue your journey by walking through the historical streets of the ancient town of Coimbra passing by several churches in the center including one of the oldest Cathedrals of Portugal, built by our first king of Portugal, Afonso Henriques. Then stroll by River Mondego and cross the bridge and fi before your driver picks you up to take you back to Lisbon. We are very flexible so let us know if theres any specific place you would like to visit while in Coimbra.

This church was built in the 12th century by Afonso Henrique when he claimed himself king of Portugal and made Coimbra its capital. After that had some modifications that finished in the 16th century, so you today you can observe the mixture of styles in its architecture.
Pass through the Almedina door and tower, the original entrance of the fortified city center.
Also built in the 12th century, finished in the 13th century, by the two first kings of Portugal, where they are both buried. Suffered modifications in the 16th century by King Manuel I and made it what it is today.

This is a very good tour. Aveiro is very beautiful. Love the canal and colorful houses and buildings.Great architecture.I enjoy the boat ride at Rua de Aveiro. Pur guide, Ruben is very attentive and accommodating. He is very knowledgeable of the places we visited. Coimbria is equally worth visiting. Home to one of the oldest university in Europe and the world. Lunch included in the tour was really good. Totally enjoyed it.
