Was an amazing experience and our guide Mohammed was very accommodating. He managed to give us some history if the mountain/villages while also ensuring the climb was perfect!
Fantastic experience our guide Mohammed was brilliant nice steady pace ensured we all got to the top. Food was good, transportation was flawless a really top notch all round experience. Don’t underestimate the effects altitude on appetite, energy levels and sleep
Our Toubkal guide Mohamed was excellent. Kept us at a steady but manageable pace, with plenty of interesting information along the way. The food prepared by our cook (also Mohamed) was absolutely delicious. All in all, a fabulous trip.
The best trekking experience in the last 20 years thanks to mountain guide Mohamed Tsiou from Climg Mount Toubkal 🧗🏿♂️ If it's hot in Europe, find a 4,000m peak like us (or two like us) and climb it from the bottom to the top and cool off there at the top. And maybe you'll find an engine from a crashed plane and also find out what your own limits are and what's inside you and your friends. Atlas Mountains, June 2026, together with Vítek Höfer and Lukáš Lata and our mountain guide Mohamed 🧗🏿♂️ Mohamed Tsiou
We recently climbed Mount Toubkal as part of a fundraising challenge for Newcastle United Foundation, and we could not have asked for a better guide than Mohamed and his team. From start to finish, Mohamed was exceptional. His knowledge of the mountains, the local Berber culture and the route itself was outstanding, but what really set him apart was his ability to motivate and support every member of the group, regardless of ability. Climbing North Africa's highest peak can be a challenge, particularly at altitude, and Mohamed's calm, professional and encouraging approach ensured that everyone felt safe, confident and capable throughout the trek. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He paced the group perfectly, constantly checked on everyone's wellbeing, and shared insights about the Atlas Mountains and local life along the way. His experience and leadership gave us complete confidence at all times. The trek was an unforgettable experience and a huge success, raising funds for Newcastle United Foundation's disability programmes. Much of that success was down to Mohamed and his team. If you are considering climbing Toubkal, I cannot recommend Mohamed highly enough. A true professional, a fantastic guide and an all-round great person. Thank you, Mohamed, for helping create memories that will last a lifetime.
Superb trek up the mountain. Our guide, Mohamed Tsiou, went above and beyond and got us safely to the summit. Mohamed was a great character and we were very lucky to enjoy his enthusiasm for a job he clearly loves. The food was exceptional and all in all, an epic experience.
walked up mount toubkal on the 20th/21st of june. Our guide Mohamed Tsiou was amzing, went above and beyond on everything imagenable. We walked up to base camp in good time and he suggested we head up to the summit on that same day rather than wake up early to do so. We agreed and had the whole mountain to ourselves. Thankyou Mohamed for being proffesional and pushing us when we needed to. Hopefully see you and Morrocco again soon.
We were lucky enough to have the trekking experience of a lifetime, and that was very much thanks to our guide, Mohamed. A kind soul, who we felt genuinely cared and appreciated our presence, even though this might have been his 500th tour. Unlike most trekking groups, ours consisted mostly of only the three of us. I highly recommend this, as it provides a much more tailored, and personal experience. We are accustomed to food being fairly basic on tours deep in nature, but that was certainly not the case here. Our cook created an exceptional culinary experience, introducing us to a variety of delicious Moroccan dishes. The food alone could be considered a selling point for this tour. If you’re considering which trekking company to choose for your Toubkal adventure, look no further than this
Karima was a kind person, and a great host at imlil lodge. On the trek all the team were very quick and capable to adapt to needs and circumstances. The location is well worth a visit. Brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere, brilliant people. At great price. Would recommend to everyone.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Toubkal Guides from start to finish. Everything was seamless, from the airport pick-up to our stay at the lovely lodge in Imlil and, of course, the trek itself. Our guide, Driss, was outstanding. He looked after our group of six energetic women with endless patience, humour and professionalism as we celebrated two 50th birthdays! He made the whole experience enjoyable, safe and unforgettable. The food throughout the trip was exceptional. Saif and Ibrahim prepared delicious meals that exceeded all expectations, especially considering the mountain setting. Every meal was fresh, plentiful and absolutely fantastic. We had the best time making memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re considering climbing Mount Toubkal, we would highly recommend Toubkal Guides. Their organisation, hospitality and attention to detail were first class. Thank you to the whole team for such an incredible experience!
