Unfortunately, we were at the wrong port, we didn't know there were two. After a delay of almost an hour, we started. Besides me and my husband, there were 2 extended families on the bus, which was not nice and we sometimes felt like the 5th. Wheel on the car! Lunch was terrible, masses of people with even more masses of plates on the table (which were not cleared quickly enough), the quality of the food was at most lower average. All in all, we would not book this trip anymore!!
Did this tour with Kenny and had a blast! He gave a really thoughtful tour of old town Macau and left us to explore the casino areas on our own, so it was appropriately paced. Highly recommended!
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear you had a great time with Kenny and enjoyed his thoughtful introduction to old town Macau. It’s great that the balance between guided tour and free exploration suited you well. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon!
With 4 others we were met at Taipa ferry. The vehicle was a very old L300 minibus without seatbelts. Bad access and worn out throughout. We visited a few must sees but were left at each to wander. Had one of the worst lunches ever. Cold Asian buffet little choice and no English service. Tour guide was informative. We were dumped at one of the casinos with instructions to use the free shuttle bus at 2:30pm. Not recommended.
Thank you for your feedback. You joined a Macau local group tour, and we appreciate your comments. During peak season, vehicle conditions can sometimes be less stable, and we will continue to monitor and improve this. We also take note of your lunch feedback and will work to enhance the dining experience. The drop-off point at The Venetian is designed to allow most guests ample time for shopping and exploration. For future bookings, please note your preference at the time of order if you prefer to be dropped directly at the ferry terminal.
Only the fine print told us to bring our passports😬 Not allowed into Macau from HongKong with a passport! Disappointed and no refund, as we were at the ferry terminal buying our ticket for our ferry ride to Macau to join the tour!
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that this tour begins at the Macau ferry terminal. Travelers arriving from Hong Kong must pass through customs, and carrying a valid passport is required. This information is included in the booking confirmation and tour notes. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Okay, explained some things but would have been good to have more explanation at for example museum, talk through different parts of church, wall etc
Tour company was efficient mostly. Picked us up at our hotel, escorted everyone to the right ferry stop. Once on Macau our guide was fantastic, very informative and entertaining, it was a great day. The reason I didn’t leave a perfect score was because when we returned the driver refused to drive us back to our hotel, said it was a 10 minute walk and left us. Problem, we get outside and it’s pouring rain and I use a cane, this 10 minutes took me over a half hour and I was drenched. The reason I am giving this tour such a good review is because of the experience on the island.
Guide , was fantastic. Caring and lots of helpful information. Whole tour was great. Lunch at revolvng restaurant in the tower is a MUST DO.
booked this on tripadvisor, the pick up was easy make sure you contact the operator if your hotel is not listed in the pickup list, the guide were very friendly and explained and executed the tour very well, our guide in Macau - little Henry was fantastic and very informative and friendly, covered 4 UNESCO world heritage sites, shopping, sky tower lunch (fantastic) viewing gallery and Sands Casino

Fantastic experience to see the old and the new Macau

Extremely long day with not a lot of things to impress.Temples seen were disappointing to ones seen in other countries. Enjoyed the ferry crossing, trip to tower and excellent lunch in Hotel Rio.
Not interested in Casinos and although very impressive left there too long with nothing else to do or see.
Did not like the tour guide asking for tips and coming around herself with bag putting travellers under pressure. I will tip if I have been happy with service and excursion.
