The church as we know it today was founded by Henry III in the 13th century, who ordered the demolition of Edward the Confessor’s royal palace and a monastery situated on the site. In its place, a new Gothic cathedral was built that was consecrated in 1269: From now on, by decree of the King of England, Westminster Abbey was to be a place for the coronation and burial of monarchs.

My friends and I really enjoyed this tour. As it was our first time in London and we didn’t have that much time, this was a great way to see some of the main landmarks and learn a little about the history of the city. Our guide, Megan, was informative, helpful and funny. Highly recommended!
It was so nice to walk and watch and otherwise sit on the bus and enjoy London's sightseeing attractions while watching Titanic. Recommend for once 👍
Megan was excellent! Very informative and friendly. Advising to arrive 30 minutes in advance was much too soon. Bus was very comfortable with good air conditioning. Sights were great!

David and driver on the tour of London gave a great introduction to London. Good stories and directions. Really appreciated the St Paul tour that took us into the chapel dedicated to the U S service men and women who served in the WW II. That was very moving. They both were very professional during the time they were with us.

We went to Leeds Dover and Canterbury Tour guide Omar was very well educated in the history of our stops! The driver was also pleasant! Dover was not as I expected I thought there was a trail that you could walk to the beach…. Near the Castle….Leeds Castle and the Canterbury Cathedral were AMAZING!! Overall it was good trip, Saw a lot of towns on the drive!

Excellent tour with tea and food. Cameron our guide was excellent in his knowledge and history along the tour. Kept everyone interested as well as pointing out all the highlights of London. James our driver was great in maneuvering our bus through narrow streets and afternoon rush traffic. Food was fresh and as good as other high tea foods. Get your choice of tea as well as get Prosecco to go with the food. Highly recommend for nice way to relax and get great orientation and history of London
