Natalia was absolutely great right from the start. Her knowledge of La Paz, El Alto, the past and current cultural highlights, architecture and more was so informative and interesting. Can't recommend more highly, don't miss this.
I had an excellent walking tour of La Paz with Natalia. She was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about both the history of La Paz and Bolivia as a whole. One thing I especially appreciated was that she didn't just point out landmarks, she explained their historical and cultural significance. She also took the time to show me how to use the Mi Teleférico gondola system, which was very helpful for getting around the city afterward. The pace of the tour was perfect. Even though I was the only participant that day, Natalia never rushed through the sites and was happy to answer questions along the way.
Nico did a great job explaining some of the dynamics that have shaped La Paz. The stops at the witches market and outside San Pedro prison were particularly informative.
This tour was one of our favourite activities in La Paz! Jorge was a wonderful guide who taught us so much about La Paz and Bolvian history in a short span of time. Exploring La Paz by foot and cable car was a great way to learn about the city as it can be quite overwhelming.
This tour was a bit lack luster. Learning about the spirituality and rituals in Bolivia in the Witches Market was interesting, but other than that I don't know that doing this tour gained us much beyond what we could have gained from a self-guided exploration other than maybe a bit of convenience and safety. The price is quite cheap so I guess it's fine, but then you need to factor in tipping the guide. I think I would have preferred to do a more expensive tour that incorporated more of the city and had possibly a more lively and interested guide.
We were in La Paz in May 2026, at a very tense time in Bolivia. With the help of the guide Natália we were able to know places that we were not having access on our own - we felt safe with her. The city tour was very interesting.
We went on the La Paz walking and cable car tour with Nikko, our guide. The tour was excellent and we highly recommend it. Nikko spoke excellent English, was very clear and he told us so many interesting things about the history of La Paz, the architecture, culture and politics in Bolivia, past and present. He also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and after the tour we felt confident to explore the city by ourselves. The cable car ride was exciting and we travelled on several of the lines. Thank you Nikko.
Given this was my first time in Bolivia, I was looking for an interesting history/walking tour the day after arriving. This was a great experience, everything went as planned from the group meetup to exploring the markets, learning the history and culture, and navigating the cable cars. Nikko was a great guide and offered additional tips getting around and learning about La Paz on my own and other attractions in Bolivia to visit.
This city walk is highly recommended. Our guide Nico showed us important landmarks while explained the Bolivian society and culture and some historic highlights. Hearing about how indigenous traditions and habits affect daily life was particularly interesting. Nico took good care of the group and guided us safely through the sometimes hectic traffic. The ride in the cable-car systen was another highlight which gave us an excellent overview of the city and some amazing views. We also visited a gallery with original pieces of art that you don't find in the usual tourist outlets.
Nice way to see La Paz. Guide could be more enthusiastic.
