No customer communication from City Sightseeing Belfast.

I booked 9 tickets for family and friends. We had one day in Belfast and intended to take the tour after visiting the Titanic Museum in the afternoon. On the day in questions there were apparently some unexpected road closures due to an unplanned rally which resulted in the 4pm bus rerouting in the opposite direction, so that when we went to board the bus at Titanic instead of being at the beginning of the tour we were brought 2 stops back into the city with no offer of a refund. Back in the city we did not observe any road closures and the rally seemed to have been very much planned due to a stand errected outside city hall. It would have been nice to get a notification about the reroute and might have allowed us to replan our day. Having contacted the operator by email twice for an explanation and possible refund and not received any response, I would consider this a very poor customer service and will definitely be using this operator should we travel to Belfast again. Very disappointing.

Enjoyable trip around Belfast

Tour guide Rodney and driver John were a great team. The tour was informative and Rodney threw in a few good jokes as well. Nice to see the city and interesting to see the Troubled areas with it's murals and flying flags.

Could be better

A good way to get your bearings in any new city we found the experience varied in quality depending on who was doing the commentary as some drivers were more informative, humorous, or easier to understand. Fortunately on our first bus where we completed the circuit we enjoyed the commentary. Later when hopping on and off we were less impressed. All but one of the buses were comfortable. I ended up with a bruise when I sat down in one rather tatty bus as the seat belt socket was broken. The company needs to trim branches on the route as in a number of places the people sitting outside near to the covered area had branches whipping back in their faces. I can forsee claims for injuries or broken spectacles. Do not sit in the front 3 rows outside just in case. One driver even said "the branches are much worse this year" so they are aware, just have not taken action to prevent injury.

Brilliant way to see Belfast. Bus every half hour just enough time to see some of the sights and catch the next one.

Must do activity

Easy to find the starting point. Great team - George was very funny. Very much appreciated the fact that the driver also did the commentary rather than an impersonal headset. Good value for money

Great driver

Stevie was excellent, knew his stuff, great tour. Just a hint: the bus stops noted on the map are not necessarily where they are in reality.

Terrible experience. AVOID!

AVOID AVOID AVOID this service. We had a terrible experience yesterday. The map provided on both leaflet and website does NOT make it evident that the stops for hopping on and off are actually VERY limited, we waited for ages and ages in the mid afternoon at 2 different stops as marked on map but were passed by only 2 buses speeding past. Service by mid afternoon is infrequent. No response to complaint feedback. JUST AVOID!
