Horrible. 11 hours on a bus.

Very bad, 11 hours on a bus and van (with small children), when they told us it would be about 3 hours approx. They picked us up at 06:50 and we spent 3.5 hours picking up other excursionists, and then to the cenote (when the first thing was supposed to be Chichén), eat and we arrived at Chichén at 16:00, and at 17:00 they closed. It was supposed to be 2 hours at Chichén (1 hour with a guide and another free) and the guide was there for about 20 minutes. Horrible, and they didn't even give us water. A scam. Everyone was outraged. Terrible.

Viator left me standing for 90 minutes and no one showed- despite calls to them. Vendor phone number not operable

Booked a tour where I was to be picked up by their vendor- Cancun Bay tours-at 7 am - Never showed, and no answer at the local phone number. Called Viator office several times, they said I was scheduled now for 810 -and said they would email the vendor - then I was told they would arrive by 810 - I asked if they spoke to someone they said no - it was just on the email- I waited until 830 - no one showed and no one called- I have used Viator several times and have been happy. This was completely devastated - I planned this tour for my 70th birthday--So it was too late by 830 to book a tour with my resort - which I should have done originally. I would like an explanation but there has been none. The second Viator rep I spoke to was rude. Thank you Viator for not following up and to this day, all I received was several requests to review - so here it is. It is not abut a refund, but shoddy customer service. On my 70th birthday to boot! I have cancelled future tours for upcoming trips I have planned. Viator and Cancun Bay Tours - DO BETTER!

Fun and informative experiences with a lot of variety

Victor was so informative about the Matan culture, and he was just fun to listen to. It added so much to our visit to the cenotes and Chichén Itzá. I loved ziplining to drop into the clear water of the cenite; the Mayan ceremony to greet us, the amazing history and architectute of Chuchen Itza, and then at the end of the day, the stop at the town center of Vialladolid was just perfect! People dancing near the fountain, the selection of yummy street food.
