7:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel or designated meeting point, then head directly to Chiang Rai. After about an hour’s drive, stop at Mae Khachan Hot Spring, where you can stretch your legs, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Mae Khachan Hot Spring is located at Tambol Mae Chedi Mai, Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province. The hot spring is located on the left side. Wat Rong Khun, perhaps better known to foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary, unconventional, privately-owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.
Depart for the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai Province. This is where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet, separated by the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy a relaxing lunch break here while taking in the scenic views of this famous border region.
The wonder of Golden Triangle is the visit to 3 countries; Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, in one place. It is 9 kilometers north of Chiang Saen along the Mekong riverside road. Sop Ruak is the place where Mekong River, the border between Thailand and Laos, meets Ruak River, the border between Thailand and Myanmar.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mae Khong River and the meeting point of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers. Begin your journey back to Chiang Mai, which takes around 3 hours. 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Arrive safely back in Chiang Mai and return to your hotel.

Wow, what an amazing day we had. Tour leader Kity ( Miss Coco) and driver Mr Loi were great. Pick up and drop off at hotel was as expected. Provided lunch was delicious. Well organised day out. Tips….. take small notes to buy from the Long neck ladies village. Long pants for ladies and pack extra water. You can’t touch the water at the hot springs. Was hoping for a dip !! The white palace was an absolute highlight of our day. Thank you to our group for a memorable day out. Highly recommend this tour. Pick up 7.30 am drop off 9.30pm. Worth every $$$
