Ian was an entertaining guide. Thank you.
Michael is an excellent tour guide. He clearly is very knowledgable about Dickens’s life and times and Michael presents the information in an entertaining and very enjoyable manner. You also get to see a number of sights in London and learn how they connect to Dickens life and his writings. I highly recommend this tour.
Guide didn’t show up. No communication. We spent extra money on a train to get to the meeting point. We booked our whole weekend around this tour. Obviously I’m disappointed and angry. I think it was a scam. Coincidentally, my credit card had an attempt to buy a mobile phone not long after booking. Are the two linked? Who knows.
Hi Beth, We're sorry to hear this. The Charles Dickens tour was cancelled on the 8th of October, and you should have received an email notifying you about it. You should have also received a full refund for your tickets. If you need any further assistance with this, please contact us immediately at: info@briticontours.com Kind regards
Great tour. Excellent tour guide Ian. I learned a lot of things. Also, since it was a private tour, it was a customised tour, so I could visit and see sites not always shown on group tours. Thank you very much, Ian!
Ian was a great tour guide!! Did rush anyone with their walking or the tour information. Shouldered on in the pouring rain.
The walking tour was very interesting and took us to the places where Dickens lived and worked. Ian, the guide, was very pleasant and entertaining. We would recommend this tour for getting to see parts of old London.
Thanks Ian for a great tour. You even brought the good weather along too. You brought what could be a dry subject to life in a way that made it so enjoyable and it felt like we were transported to another darker time in London's history. Highly recommend.
We took this tour on Saturday and it was guided by Michael who we enjoyed chatting to. My husband and I are both fans of Dickens but we learnt lots of new things along the way so we can appreciate the books in a whole new light now. Thanks for a great afternoon Michael.
We really enjoyed the Charles Dickens Tour, and our guide Jericho made it even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a real gift for bringing Dickens’ world to life. Every stop came with fascinating stories. Jericho made it easy to imagine Victorian London as Dickens would have known it. A must-do for anyone who loves history, literature, or Dickens!
