We had a fantastic day in the Champagne area with Rademus, our very knowledgeable guide. Our lunch at the family run champagne house of Julien Chopin was a highlight. We ate in the cave and had wonderful food cooked by Juliette. The ratafia was delicious!!! We learnt so much about the area, the Champagne houses, vintage and the actual champagne. Highly recommend!
Wonderful champagne region tour! Pierre was a great guide. A local from Reims, he provided great insight to the region, and took us to not only the well known houses but some smaller family makers who had wonderful champagnes. I have been on one of these trips before and Pierre made this one the best. Would HIGHLY recommend taking the train to the region if you are staying in Paris. This was a much better way to get there than driving. The cathedral of Notre Dame of Reims is worth a visit if you are there.
Our guide Pierre was delightful and attentive. He enhanced our wonderful champagne experience. The champagne Roger Consant Lemaire tasting was very welcoming and informative and the champagne was the best we had ever experienced. The lunch at the Le Clos Corbier was delicious and the perfect venue for enjoying the experience. Notre Dame cathedral was awesome and beyond words. A little weary by the time of the Veuve Cliquot tour, but it was definitely worth the time. We all had the best experience. Thank you
Great tour, Our guide Pierre was very engaging, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The day was well planned. Our tours were informative and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.
Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and created a perfect day in Reims for us. We would book again!
Lunch in the vineyard and Champagne caves and tastings at the vineyards. Rafael was very informative on the history of the region
Dear Domenico, Thank you for your comment. We look forward to having you back on tour in another region with us ! Best regards, Arthur
We just came back from a most amazing tour of Champagne. Raphael is PHENOMENAL! He is extremely knowledgeable about everything - even beyond Champagne itself eg French history. He is a thoughtful, caring guide and über polite. He more than exceeded our expectations and it is probably one of the best tours we ever experienced – period. Highly recommended!
Dear Ralph, We thank you for your message, this type of feedbacks are exactly what we are doing our job for, an amazing experience for our client. We are grateful to have Raphael with us, best guide in France. Looking forward to having you back on tour with us in another region maybe ? Best regards, Arthur
We absolutely loved our tour in Reims. Our tour guide Raphael was fantastic. He was hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about champagne, the region and the history of the area. After visiting Veuve, he took us to two smaller producers. Didier Hebert included lunch, which was phenomenal. We definitely plan to come back for a longer stay and do more tours with Raphael!
Dear Brett, Thank you for your review. It is always a pleasure to read comments like this. Company does a great job of organizing and delivering you to all the major Champagne houses. After walking to the train station to meet our driver, he took us to various houses you then go on a large group tour performed by each house, followed by a tasting. We went to 4 large houses, where each 1-2 hour tour was mostly the same, with some minor historical nuances. The highlight for me was seeing the vineyards, and the co-op smaller family owned Houses, especially "Salmon" where we were escorted by the founders Granddaughter, and were delighted to enjoy her grandfathers company at the tasting portion. Also enjoyed a gourmet lunch at another small "house" whose name escapes me..Bottom line- A good time was had by all, by the end I think I knew enough to start my own brand!
Had a great tour with Dorothee. She picked us up at our hotel in very nice Mercedes minivan. Toured cathedrale and taught us history of region before going to Veuve Clicquot. Had a 45 minute tour there in the chalk quarry cellars and history with a two champagne tasting before heading to lunch with Elizabeth at a small family winemaker Dominique Foureur . Delicious lunch of vegetables and accommodated to our needs(father is vegetarian). Delicious and informative lunch before heading to Godme winery with Sabine. Toured the cellars and saw behind the scenes of winemaking. Very informative and delicious tour. Dorothee was extremely knowledgeable and answered many questions we had about the region and the champagne making process. Lunch was fantastic and would highly recommend this day long tour. August was a great time of year to be there as it is before the super busy harvest season.
