Itinerary
7.30AM pick up at hotel or appointment and depart for Cat Tien National Park. The drive takes about 3hours with short break on the way. Cat Tien National Park is famous for its high biodiversity, and is home to many tall hundred-year-old forest trees.
11.00 AM on arrival, you will rest at Cat Tien jungle lodge and be treated with welcome drink. Bring prepared picnic lunch and hammock rest with you for the trekking into the rain-forest in which you will gaze into Giant Tung Tree and put yourself in harmony with wildlife. It’s up to you, the trekking route can be further to more sites of Lagerstroemia Oval folia (BangLang), Tetra meles nubiform (Tung), Cycas ramphoid (Thien Tue). Next you cycling around Nam Cat Tien village and enjoy the beautiful of this tropical forest. Back the park entrance and then trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. End the tour around 19.00pm.

Our guide Tin (Nhân) and hí driver “Mr Handsome” made our tour unforgettable nice. Tin speaks very well English and easily speaks about many things. He and Mr Handsome ensure that this is one of the best tours you can make from Ho Chi Minh, if not the best tour. We cycled 30 km with Tin through do forest and was carrying and relaxed.
Wonderful experience with incredible guide. Great to see one of the few “lung forests” and see the flora and fauna. The Tung trees are amazing. We opted for longer hike instead of biking and glad we brought our hiking boots because path is rocky with lots of roots. Chow is an incredible guide who really cares about your experience. He made certain our dietary restrictions were taken care of.
Chow is an outstanding guide. He made the journey there interesting and fun. He exceeded expectations! When we got to the park he adjusted the tour based on our preference for longer hiking. His English is perfect! He’s the best tour guide we’ve had across several countries. Very caring, knowledgeable and friendly. He even made certain our food allergies were handled perfectly. Highly recommend him. The trees, animals and plants give a great understanding to travel on foot through Vietnam. Tip: We were glad we had hiking boots. Much of the hike is over rocks and roots.
