Make sure you explain if on an independent audio tour, to ignore meeting point start. Missed my entry time even though I was early, waiting for no one to turn up.
Beautiful palace and the ground are amazing. It was a shame the gardens were under renovation.
The ticket price 30€ for two, for all the gardens and the palace is absolutely worth it!! You will be thrilled it is fabulous!!
The staff was super friendly! We were a bit late for our ticket time and they still let us in. We spent 5 hours there, and still didn’t see everything. I suggest bringing some snacks and water. They do have food there, but it is a lot of walking, so be prepared! It was the highlight of our trip to Italy, and you’re a fan of Star Wars, then you have to visit!

The palace has under ground parking at the front so it’s a short walk to the entrance. Parking cost for ticket is very cheap although did not appear to have contactless machines to pay just a cashier desk. Tickets purchased close to main entrance - kids under 18 go free but need id ! Good value tho. The palace itself is incredible, the scale and the workmanship is jaw dropping in almost all the rooms. We only had time to visit one storey. We then had a brief walk of the gardens which are huge best to get a cart or use bus tour. Main criticism is that there are a lack of facilities, they need multiple cafes not just the one we found which couldn’t cope and more seating areas needed . There is so much space being wasted and they could be making a lot more money if they did. Also no fans in the rooms as it was very hot internally not great for the young or elderly.
Other than Versailles..!!! It is to be seen and experienced in its beautiful gardens and restored greenhouses. Our guide of Tui Francesca really prepared and nice
Was contacted less than 24 hours before event, and vendor said “we cannot confirm, so we will just cancel” , I was sad. I only had a limited time for this on e in a lifetime trip.
The palace is amazing! Favorite place in Napoli. This service, however, don’t use it!!! They take your money and the tickets didn’t work. Had to pay again. Scam!
First time Viator tours disappointed me. They cancelled my tour the day before saying they couldn’t confirm the tickets. I am waiting for my refund and I hope they do something extra for me as my group of 8 was very upset.
