Excellent tour, got to see and experience more than you could’ve self guided and learnt a lot more along the way.
We had a lovely day with our guide Mario, who was informative and friendly. We saw crocodiles and cassowaries. It was a great day trip, the Daintree walk was easy to do and the river cruise was interesting. Lunch was lovely. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently
This tour was fantastic would highly recommend. Our guide Sean was fabulous and full of knowledge. A long day but there was so much to see.
Absolutely incredible tour today. Made all the more incredible by our lovely tour guides John and Sebastian! They truly made it a once in a lifetime experience. Our journey there was great - never thought a bus ride could be exciting, but Johns extensive knowledge of the rainforest and surrounding areas (among many other topics!) made it so interesting. Every possible question you could have, he had an answer to! By far the most informative tour I have experienced, so much so that I’d do it all again. Sebastian was very knowledgable as well - absolutely fantastic and he made sure we got through all the winding roads safely, most importantly he somehow managed to avoid every speed bump! The sights we saw were absolutely phenomenal, so many beautiful stops and each one was just fantastic. Even what seemed like a simple stop for ice cream turned into such a lovely experience as we were greeted by the most lovely host Betty, who makes each flavour by hand. I’ve dreamed of visiting the daintree for so many years, the rainforest was just as beautiful as I had imagined, and so special to learn all about it at the same time. It was a long day but the humour from these two keeps you going. Cannot speak highly enough about John and Sebastian and they truly made our day. If you’re thinking of booking this tour, do it. You won’t regret it, was sad to leave! Until next time (I’ll be back 😂)
This was a really awesome tour! Steve was funny and full of knowledge about everything! It was a full tour well spent!
Incredible experience with some great scenery. Lucky to have Steve as our guide!
This was a wonderful adventure. This was a robust, 11 hour tour, that covers a lot of ground. We appreciated having a smaller group, as we would move about faster.
We had an absolutely fantastic time on our tour to Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation yesterday, and it was all thanks to our incredible tour leader, James! From the very beginning, James was punctual, arriving right at our hotel to pick us up. Throughout the day, his wonderful personality shone through—he is incredibly kind, high-energy, supportive, and deeply knowledgeable about the areas we visited. He kept us engaged and well-informed the entire time. What truly showed his dedication and professionalism happened on our way back. There was a major accident on the road, causing a huge traffic jam. Instead of just waiting it out, James went completely out of his way and took an alternative route that added an extra hour of driving, just to ensure we could get back to our hotel as safely and quickly as possible. He worked so hard to make sure we had the perfect day, and his exceptional care made all the difference. Thank you, James, for being such an outstanding guide! We highly recommend this tour to everyone!
We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Steve is great at sharing information every step along the route. Really entertaining too, never boring. We did the 11 hour Daintree tour. It’s a lot, with charming beautiful beach towns, Mossmon gorge views with a dip, great lunch and finish with Daintree and Cape Trib visits. This will make you want to come back for a longer visit or give you plenty of ideas to experience on this one.
Lots of road works since Cyclone Jasper several years ago, tour operations haven't amended tour schedules. We were encouraged constantly to move quickly through the sites and to take quick toilet breaks. Lunch was a very fast 22 minutes from leaving the bus to being hurried back on to the bus to continue our tour. No real fruit tasting or relaxing lunch, no time for a coffee, very disappointing, I would have liked to spend more time at the Tea hut. The entire morning trip was rushed. The morning tea, Visitors Centre and the swim at Mossman Gouge. A very dissapointing day. I was really looking foward to experiencing everything that was advertised while I was visiting Cairns.
