We had an excellent tour with our guide, Michel, who was arguably the best tour guide we have ever had for a private tour anywhere in the world. We booked the full day tour, but after a long travel day to Cape Town, we wanted to hit the highlights in a five hour period so we could have some time to rest. Michel took us to the stops we wanted to see - Boulders Beach and Cape Point - and kept us on a timeline to stay within our desired time, and didn’t add any extra stops for sights or shopping. Book your first day in Cape Town with Michel - it’s a great price and you will get exactly what you want!
Wonderful visit with extremely beautiful and varied locations. Tour guide was personable, knowledgeable and flexible. His quiet demeanour meant that my wife and I did not hear everything, however. However this was a tour that we would thoroughly recommend.
It was very difficult for us to understand our guides. He had a very strong accent. He gladly repeated. It helped a little. Regardless, my husband understood very little. Unfortunate, as I'm sure the driver had an excellent understanding of the area. Our tour was 7 hours.
Great tour. Captured all must see points in cape Town in 8 hours . Driver made sure we avoid crowds !
Experience 10. The guide very friendly and attentive. Cape Town super nice!! The tour very complete.
We we requested to rescheduled this tour and then canceled the rescheduled tour by email. We never received a response from Tripadvisor and we never received a phone message left on their voicemail.
Brilliant day out. Our guide Wesley was first class. I would thorpughly recommend this outing and Wesley.
Felix is a wealth of knowledge regarding Cape Town. A bonus is, he has a van to take you around. Seeing all the different areas was wonderful. Cape Town and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. Beware of one point.....Chapman's Peak Drive said included in admission and it was not. It was approximately $30 USD per person
Wesley was a good and safe driver and always shared interesting background information with us. He adjusted the route according to our wishes, and we had a great time overall. The only minor downsides were that the tour was in English instead of German as stated in the booking (probably because we booked quite spontaneously) and that the car was a bit tight for five people. Nevertheless, we would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!
Our “driver” was well informed about the history of South Africa and there was a good conversation with him throughout the trip. We saw what we wanted and at our own pace - which was super nice. Departure at 11:00 and return to the hotel at 18:00 - delicious food in Hout Bay along the way.
