Great walking tour of Cape Town but guide was way too political and controversial.

My wife and I enjoyed the walking tour of different areas of Cape Town and descriptions of the buildings and history of the area our guide Diego talked way too much about his views of global political issues and not enough about what we wanted to know about the history and culture of Cape Town.

Great overview of the very colourful Bo Kaap and downtown.

Wandered around Bo Kaap and the downtown city area. Our guide gave us a good overview of the Malay/ Muslim area.

The only day I needed !

Refiloe is just a star! Honestly! Such an amazing personality! His enthusiasm is very communicative. He loves his country, his town and you can tell!! My friend and I started the day at the Apartheid Museum, although the trip is much necessary we felt quite emotional( and down). We did plan for a the street art tour in the afterboon so we were looking forward to a more joyful experience. We were not dissapointed. Refiloe's smile was the hug we needed to light on our evening! He took us around Maboneng, made jokes, created quizzes and introduced us to his neigborhood with such an ease that we ended up making some friends at Chez Bertrand! It was the only experience I needed to get Jo'burg lifestyle! Thank you Refiloe, Thank you OneDayAfrica♡

Real Soweto history through the eyes of a local

Authentic sharing about his personal understanding of Apartheid, walking through the streets that would otherwise be deemed "unsafe" by innocent tourists, ending at a special spot for lunch trying local dishes while watching locals bungee-jump. He even offered to show us events in Joburg that evening after the tour as a true passionate citizen of Joburg/Soweto. Unforgettable afternoon.
