Do not book with this company! 3 days before I was scheduled for the overnight safari, they said there was no accomodation available and would have to drive me back to Cape Town and return the next day. Terrible customer service from start to finish!! Many better options than Matadi Tours!!!

This is a short cut way to see the big 5 . Good lunch included and some wine. However, it’s not a great experience. The National Parks are so much better. 10,000 hectares is very small for game and the lions, a pride of 4, are segregated by electric fences ( in case they eat the other game!!!) The dirt roads are in a terrible condition and the ride was incredibly uncomfortable. So its not a don’t go but manage your expectations.

From pick up to drop off our 2 night stay at Aquilla was fantastic. We stayed in Rm 9 which we'd highly recommend waking up to see elephants, baboons, rhino's, ostriches and wilder beasts from your balcony was amazing. The rangers were fun and knowledgeable. The food was buffet style and we enjoyed what was on offer and for each of the 2 nights a different menu. The spa was lovely and relaxing as we're the massages and it isn't often you're visited by a peacock when your chilling in the pool. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.
