The service is quick and efficient. The view at the top is amazing. The funicular was clean and run well
This funicular has been operating at Cape Point since 1996. Round trip fare will cost 75 rand, one way 50 rand. The funicular ascent will save you energy because after arrival you will still have to go. Like many tourists, I used it only for climbing down with my feet. The descent is short and simple.
My girlfriend headed out to Cape Point and took the Flying Dutchman to the peak before walking back down and around the reserve. Amazing experience with breath taking views - I’d thoroughly recommend for anyone visiting Cape Town.
Thank you so much for your review
