Itinerary
Following a picnic lunch, hike to the Cape of Good Hope and enjoy Diaz Beach with dramatic cliffs and wild waves. When your tour is over, return to your accommodation and board your vehicle. After hotel pickup between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., you will drive along the Atlantic Coast with the Twelve Apostles Mountains as your backdrop, followed by a brief cultural and historical lesson. Take a boat cruise at your own expense to the Cape Fur seal colony on Duiker Island (after arriving in Hout Bay) or wander through the local curio shops.
If the hotel or hostel is within our pick-up area, we will pick up passengers from there. You can choose your hotel/hostel when booking. You will receive a confirmation via chat when the pick-up time has been confirmed.

A trip to Boulders Beach you will not forget - it's the only place in the world where you can swim alongside penguins. Since only two breeding Jackass penguins arrived from Dyer Island, near Gansbaai, Boulders Beach has rapidly grown to over 3000 penguins. There is a thriving harbour, the Warrior Toy Museum and the South African Navy Museum in Simon's Town, the seat of the SA Navy. It is a charming coastal town with a vibrant history. The Naval Base harbour offers a good view of the frigates and submarines docked there.
As we drive the world-famous Chapman's Peak Drive, expect yet more breathtaking natural beauty. With its unrivaled views, this coastal road is a real feast for the eyes. Every turn reveals a new postcard-worthy view. During this stop, you will be able to take a picture of this magnificent creation with incredible views and a light breakfast snack. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve for a picnic lunch. After visiting the iconic lighthouse, offering panoramic views of the surrounding beauty, we'll hike 45 minutes to the legendary Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans are joined. In view of the coastline, you will be able to experience the rich history of this sacred site, which has been a symbol of exploration and adventure for centuries.
The stunning Twelve Apostle Mountains provide a stunning backdrop as you drive along the Atlantic Coastline.
On our journey, we will come to the Cape of Good Hope, an iconic and historical landmark. At the very edge of the continent, where the mighty Atlantic meets the mighty Indian Ocean, you will be a part of its rich history as you gaze out over the coastline. This tour was a highlight of our trip. At Cape of Good Hope the wind almost knocked us over but the views were spectacular. Then we got to Boulders Beach where the penguins were so entertaining , some were sunbathing like pros. Great balance of nature and cuteness.

The penguins at Boulders Beach completely stole my heart , they waddle around like clumsy little gentlemen and make the funniest noises. Cape of Good Hope was dramatic with strong winds and beautiful cliff views. The whole Peninsula drive felt like a dream. Such a fun and scenic day!
