The Cape of Good Hope & Cape Point Private Tour is one of Cape Town’s most celebrated experiences and an essential excursion for first-time visitors. This spectacular journey takes you to the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula, revealing dramatic coastlines, some of South Africa’s most stunning natural scenery. Spanning approximately 180 kilometres, the circular route travels along both sides of the peninsula. Heading south via the False Bay coastline, you'll visit the renowned African penguin colony at Boulders Beach before continuing into the magnificent Cape Point Nature Reserve. Discover the rugged splendour of the Cape of Good Hope, where soaring cliffs meet the sea, and enjoy time to walk up to the historic lighthouse at Cape Point. The return route follows the Atlantic Seaboard, famous for its pristine beaches and breathtaking mountain vistas. A late-afternoon drive rewards visitors with beautiful golden light along the western coastline world-renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive.

We will travel along the Atlantic seaboard, driving between the mountains and the ocean our first photo stop will be at Maiden's Cove beautiful scenic lookout point nestled between Clifton's beaches and the prestigious suburb of Camps Bay in Cape Town.
Hout Bay or the Republic of Hout Bay as it is affectionately known by locals. It was named Hout Bay by the Dutch explorer who "found" the wooded valley and named it "wood bay".
Beautiful coastal drive on the way to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
The seaside village of Kommetjie has the tallest light house in South Africa.
Scarborough is known for its stunning beaches, rugged coastline, and laid-back atmosphere. The area is popular with surfers, hikers, and nature lovers, making it a unique destination for outdoor activities.
Set in the beautiful Cape Peninsula and Southern most ostrich farm in Africa is our next photo stop with Patrick your onboard tour guide who also worked on an ostrich farm you will be able to ask him all your questions.
Once entering Cape Point Nature Reserve, reserve we will drive leisurely to the tip of the Nature Reserve on the way see the Dias and DA Gama monuments. You may encounter some baboons and other wildlife such as Bontebok, Cape Eland, Cape Mountain Zebra and with over 250 species of birdlife we must keep our eyes open.
Once at Cape Point enough time will be allowed to hike up to the top to see the Cape Point lighthouse or take the funicular, before going to the Cape of Good Hope.
From Cape Point we will drive all the way down to the Cape of Good Hope most South Westerly tip of the African continent. Walk on the beach and have photos of the most Westerly tip of the continent sign board "Cape of Good Hope".
Driving out of the Cape Point Nature Reserve our next stop situated along the False Bay coastline is the famous Boulders Penguins Colony near Simon's Town. The place gets its name from the huge and ancient granite boulders along the coast. This picturesque area is home to a colony of some 3000 delightful African Penguins. A boardwalk runs from Foxy Beach to Boulders Beach, where you can get down on the sand and mingle with the penguins but don't be tempted to pet them they have sharp beaks that can cause serious injuries.
After our visit at Boulders beach and the African Penguin colony our drive back to Cape Town take us through the picturesque coastal naval town of Simon's Town located on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula.
Our afternoon drive back to Cape Town take us through the Kalk Bay fishing village situated on the East side of the peninsula along False Bay. The village lies between the ocean and sharply rising mountainous heights of Table Mountain Sandstone.
Boyes Drive our last scenic coastal road that climbs the lower slopes of Muizenberg Mountain providing panoramic views over Muizenberg beach for our last photo opportunity before heading inland. If not too late the shark spotter may still be on duty.
Muizenberg is one of South Africa's premier surfing destinations, offering excellent waves and surf schools for beginners a popular spot for families and children and It is also known for the colorful beach huts lining the shoreline.
Cape Town’s “green wine countryside” — a historic, sheltered valley where nature, agriculture, and heritage estates blend into one of the city’s most peaceful and refined landscapes.

Patrick is a great guide. He knows so much about country and people. He was very responsive to the wishes eg for photos. We were lucky and saw not only the many penguins in the national park but also ostriches and antelopes as well as an olive snake and baboons. For us it was a perfect last afternoon.

What an amazing experience! We had a beautiful roadtrip with the guide Patrick. He showed us some of the best scenary we've ever seen! And all the way he had interesting informatoin to share. He also helped us to find more fun stuff to do in cape town, aswell as telling us about resturants in the area we where staying We would highly recommend this experience!
