He made people smile at a time when smiles were really needed.

I want to thank Eli for a really wonderful day. We were in Cape Town during some very rainy and crazy weather. Eli contacted us the night before the tour to arrange an earlier pick up time, explaining he planned to alter the route so we could see as much as possible despite the weather. Another couple was scheduled to join and there was a mixup (not Eli's fault!). Their ship had docked at an unexpected site. Amazingly, he managed to find them so they did not miss their tour. We arrived at the Penguin site and had the place almost to ourselves and during a lovely break in the weather. As we loaded up, the rains began and about 6 tour buses pulled up and we realized Eli knew exactly what he was doing. Thanks to his knowledge and planning we saw so much when many other tours were canceled. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local spot we would never have found ourselves.
Elie was an awesome guide during this jam packed excursion. We covered all the highlights- penguins, Cape of Good Hope, Hout Bay, seals, lighthouse. Elie took a route that avoided crowds and miraculously all the rain! Lunch at a local restaurant was so fun too. Thanks for a great day!
I did this side trip on my own. What a fun day we all had after he picked up a few other guests and our guide was a really nice guy! Was just wonderful to see the penguins and see the end of the African Continent. We were gone almost 10 hrs. Well worth doing if you're ever in Cape Town, S. Africa!!
The only positive is the fantastic scenery, really disappointed with this tour. Our driver Eli was in a hurry from the minute we boarded his bus. The driving was far too fast, he nearly backed into another vehicle when leaving a car park. The tour was conducted backwards, we saw the penguins first which meant no stop for lunch or shopping in Simonstown. The driver promised lunch in Hauts Bay. A single girl apparently asked to be dropped in Simonstown on the way back. Very surprised he dropped her on the outskirts of the town, on her own. Chapmans Peak was closed, no fault of the driver, but he appeared to skip two turnings to Haut Bay, where he had previously promised a lunch stop. Instead, we ended up back in Cape Town for lunch (2.30, late for lunch after an early start). Not ideal at all , as we can eat in Cape Town any time. We skipped lunch and the coloured houses, instead we, and others chose to continue on our own, dispite his assurance he was to return us to Haut Bay (in wrong direction) after lunch. The tour was down by 6 people before it ended…
All good, thanks ☀️ Cope of Good Hope rocks!
Great day, with many impressions. Our driver explained and told us a lot and there was a lot to see
Angel was amazing! She took us on a full day private group tour around the Penninsula. She was so accomaditing with stopping for pictures, wanting to stay or leave earlier, and took us to fun stops. She had great recommendations for lunch and dinner later on in our trip. We had an excellent day with her and I highly suggest doing this tour.
This is a great excursion. We went to the pier to go and take the cruise to duiker island, but asked our driver if we could go feed some ostriches.....so great!! The whole tour was amazing, highly recommend it!!
We visited all the main sites described. There were 10 people on the tour and what made it special was our guide Armando. At the start he introduced everybody to create a relaxed atmosphere. He was very funny but was also very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. There were no time pressures at stops. Very chilled. The tour lasted for 9-10 hours including the pick-ups. An all round amazing experience to see all the fabulous places around the Cape. I would definitely recommend the tour and make sure you ask for Armando!!
Great trip with Angel . Her drive was very smoth around the curvy road and spectacular views of the coast and the penguins. Lunch in Cape Town and visit to Bo-Kaapp were a must.
Dear Alejandra Thank you for the lovely feedback! I am so glad you enjoyed the smooth coastal drive, the penguins, and our stop in Bo-Kaap. It was a pleasure sharing Cape Town with you. Hope to host you again on your next visit. Best regards
