Cape Agulhas with Penguins and Wine Tasting

Stop 1 – Stony Point Nature Reserve Begin your adventure at Stony Point, home to one of the largest African penguin colonies in the world. Walk along wooden boardwalks to see these charming seabirds and other coastal wildlife against the rugged shoreline. This is the perfect first stop to immerse yourself in nature.

Coffee Break After Stony Point, we pause for a short coffee break to relax and enjoy the coastal scenery before continuing to Hermanus. Stop 2 – Hermanus Next, we visit Hermanus, famous for its breathtaking ocean views and seasonal whale watching. Depending on the time of year, you may spot Southern Right Whales, dolphins, and seals, making this stop both scenic and memorable.

Stop 3 – Cape Agulhas Lighthouse & Southernmost Tip of Africa Continue to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Explore the historic lighthouse and enjoy panoramic coastal views — a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Stop 4 – Lunch & Wine Tasting at Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm After Cape Agulhas, unwind with a relaxed wine tasting and locally inspired lunch at Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm. Enjoy the estate’s serene setting while sipping award-winning wines and savoring fresh, seasonal dishes.

As we drive back toward Cape Town, there’s an optional stop at Stanford Hills Estate for another wine tasting. Guests can enjoy more exquisite wines, stroll the beautiful grounds, and capture a few last photos of the Cape countryside.
