Really recommend this class! Great location also. There were two of us paired with a chef who explained very simply how to make the cannolo. So tasty to have with a coffee at the end and took the rest home. Hands down best activity in Taormina.
Francesca was great. Cannolis delicious. We made too many. Fun time love cooking classes. My partner who doesn't cook, enjoyed.
The chef that taught us the class was very knowledgeable. He explained the process and also the reasons for why certain ingredients are used or processes followed. Enjoyed it a lot.
Wonderful class and very thorough! All the materials were set up for us and we learned how to make cannoli from start to finish!
The host was very entertaining, we had a great time and the cannoli were amazing! There was so much left over we brought the remainder to our hotel staff
Overall a nice experience. The cooking teacher very friendly and helpful. We made the dough ourselves and wrapped it around the moulds and then they were fried in the restaurant kitchen. Then we filled the cannoli with a ready-made ricotta cream and dipped it in chocolate chips or pistachios. The result was very delicious. Contrary to the description, however, this is NOT a private cooking class, but there are several participants. This time there were 6 participants and the atmosphere was great, but it can probably take up to 40 people to such a course. Then the care is certainly not quite as individual and warm anymore.
It was nice to see and be involved in making the cannoli. It was a friendly and group environment. The tasting and wine at the end made the experience.
The cannoli making class was lots of fun. Carmelo, a pastry chef, was engaging, humorous and informative. It was wonderful sharing the time with others from all over Europe. And, the cannoli were delicious.
Excellent! Highly recommended. So much fun. We had a great teacher who took us through every step. Very patient
It was such a great experience! Thank you Carmello for so much fun and interesting tips! And my group was also great. I think we’ve all enjoyed our time in a lovely restaurant while making cannoli. And they tasted soooo good, best in town 😎
