Our tour guide Leah was overall very pleasant, unfortunately a bunch of sargassum in the water with the turtles and it was a bit crowded. The cenote was much better!

Alex, our guide, was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable, and passionate about what he was talking about. One of our family couldn't swim and was very scared. He calmed her fears and paid extra attention to her. So glad I took this tour!

Good to bring extra food and make sure you have biodegradable sunscreen not sunblock. Mosquitos will attack you at the cenote but not sure if bug spray is allowed. Turtles are accessible if you're not a good swimmer the guides will help you out

Host Repberto was incredible, absolutely made the trip - massive thanks to him if he's reading! Sea water wasn't the best so visibility for the turtles wasn't great so when you saw them it was all a touch blurred. Caves afterwards were amazing - crystal clear water that was really refreshing to swim in.

Our excursion with Blue Caribbean was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The beach in Akumal was covered with large amounts of seaweed, making it unattractive and unpleasant. The turtle-watching activity was particularly disappointing because the conditions were so poor. In my opinion, this excursion should not be offered during the months when seaweed is abundant, as it significantly affects the overall experience. The guide spent most of the trip talking to the driver in Spanish, which meant that many of us could not understand what was being said. Instead of engaging with the group, introducing herself, sharing information about the area, or providing interesting insights about life in Mexico, she was often on her phone and seemed uninterested in interacting with the guests. We also spent about an hour picking up tourists from various hotels before the excursion even began. When we asked about the delay, we were told that this was because it was low season. Regardless of the reason, it made the experience feel poorly organized and inefficient. Overall, this was one of the worst excursions we have experienced. I would not book another excursion with Blue Caribe and cannot recommend this company.

Alex was our tour guide, he was fantastic ! Super friendly with great knowledge and talks in depth throughout the tour about the tour. He is fantastic with the children. Patient and friendly. The tour itself was great we were well informed of what was happening and what was going to happen. We got in the water and swam out to see the turtles in their natural habitat and environment we saw 4/5 very large turtles . We then went to the cenotes which was amazing !Alex helped us around in the water and told us all the information about the history behind the cenotes which he was very passionate about ate about . I would highly recommend this tour with this guide !

We had a great experience with Rudolph. He was so kind and we appreciated his fun personality and also his understanding with our differently abled son. The cenotes were our favorite, but we saw several sea turtles up close and personal as well. The van was nice with great ac!
