Boat crew were awesome! Pick-up was a bit chaotic and wish there was more time for the snorkel portion of the day, but overall a fun day
We booked this tour primarily for the snorkeling experience, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing tours we have taken in Cancun. The tour was scheduled to start at 10:30 AM. We arrived at the marina on time and departed around 11:00 AM. However, instead of heading to a snorkeling location, we spent about an hour traveling to a lunch stop. The buffet area had very poor hygiene standards. Birds were actively eating food from the buffet trays, and there seemed to be little effort to keep the food protected or maintain cleanliness. I took photos of this because I was genuinely shocked by the condition of the food area. We also felt uncomfortable with the way tipping was handled. Staff members repeatedly encouraged guests to tip and made several announcements about accepting tips in USD, Mexican pesos, and other currencies. It felt more like pressure than a voluntary gratuity. The itinerary itself was extremely inefficient. After lunch, guests were taken to downtown Isla Mujeres and given approximately two hours of free time. We booked this tour for snorkeling, not for shopping or wandering around town. The amount of time allocated to free time compared to the actual activity was frustrating. What disappointed us the most was learning that snorkeling would not take place until several hours later and would last only about 45 minutes. For a tour marketed as a snorkeling experience, snorkeling represented only a very small portion of the day. Another issue was the confusing booking process. There were multiple pickup options with different prices, but the descriptions were unclear. We were staying in Cancun’s Hotel Zone and later realized we could have selected a cheaper option. However, the system allowed us to choose the same hotel area under a more expensive category, making it easy to overpay. The pricing structure and pickup options were not clearly explained. Because of the poor organization, excessive downtime, hygiene concerns, tipping pressure, and the fact that snorkeling was such a small part of the experience, we decided to leave the tour early and return to Cancun on our own by ferry. If you are looking for a snorkeling-focused excursion, I strongly recommend choosing a different tour. This experience felt more like transportation, waiting, lunch stops, and free time than an actual snorkeling tour. Unfortunately, it was a significant waste of both time and money.
The photographer on board charged me $20 usd more than the agreed upon amount when I went and looked at my card charge. I would suggest paying cash if choosing to purchase photos. However, the guides on the boat were great and very accommodating and overall was a fun experience.

We had a great experience on this family trip. Transportation was ready for us and the Captain, tour guide and the staff were very helpful and made this a great time on and off the boat . Highly recommended using them on your next trip .
