Cairo Three Day Tours VIP Package

I got details of the company from a friend who had used them last year. I contacted the owner Tariq via WhatsApp. We exchanged messages and had a phone conversation to set out an inteniary. Price was agreed, although we had some back and forth on payment schedule. In terms of service provided, it was excellent. We were met at the airport, fast-tracked through passport control, driven in air conditioned van to hotel. Tour guide (Mahmoud Khalifa) looked after us for 3 days in Cairo. Mahmoud is a graduate in the field and highly knowledgeable. He was excellent throughout as was our driver Mustafa. Overall, an unparalleled experience for the whole family in a unique city.

I contacted Tarek before booking and sent him a list of important destinations I wanted to see in Cairo. He was so knowledgeable and helped me create a plan that suited my vision and my special circumstances because I was traveling with my 94 year old father. Tarek assigned us a very thoughtful and nice driver, Alaa who treated my father with the utmost respect. He also assigned us a very knowledgeable young lady, Amany who was our tour guide during our stay in Cairo. Amany was obsessed with the Pharaonic civilization and history. Her obsession added to our excitement and joy. She was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and stories that added to our unforgettable memories of Egypt. The only thing I would change in my very rich customized trip is choosing a different nile cruise than the one I went on. Based on Tarek's recommendation, I stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel at the Tahrir Square. This was a fantastic choice that I would definitely recommend. The service and the location were spot on. I also enjoyed Share3 Almo3ez, Khan Al Khalili, and mostly the Sufism show at Wikalat AlGhouri. Tarek, Amany, and Alaa helped me give my father a great time in Cairo. Thank you guys!

I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review to reflect on my overall feelings about this trip! And overall, it was a really great experience. The guides that we had in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan were super well known in the area, locals amongst the people, and incredibly nice. As we were two young females traveling together, we both felt very safe which I know is an important thing for American travelers. Never once did I not feel safe when with them, which is a huge plus for this specific tour. You always have a guide plus a driver with you anywhere you go until you get inside your hotel. They were all locals of each city and were pretty well versed in the ancient ruins of the area. Having said that, Khalifa in Cairo was definitely our favorite! He is an incredible photographer and took spectacular pictures for us at the pyramids. He was so sweet, as was Emad in Luxor. None of them smoked as well which is a huge plus! The biggest downside though was payment. If they had been more transparent about it before we left the US, it wouldn’t have been a problem. We opted to pay the second half of our trip in US cash when we got there. When we did, they said the bills were “too old” as the Egyptian government only accepts bills after the year 2000 or maybe even 2010. It became a big problem at the end and we had to do an emergency wire transfer at 9:30pm at night on the side of the road and it was very stressful. Again, could have not been a problem but I wish there was more transparency about it. Recommendation if you do go to Egypt - they want USD not Egyptian pounds! Still a 5 star trip for the stuff we got to see, the safety, and those two guides. Would definitely do it again!

The experience was amazing... Tariq and his staff are professionals, specially when handling issues or compensating the client... The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable and highly skilled. From the moment we touched down at Alexandria Airport, our guide Tarek was there to receive us and took us throughout our 3 day Alexandria/Cairo tour. What else can I say about Egypt that everyone else has said except that it was the best trip ever to just be immersed in the so rich culture. Everything was so rich and deep. The people especially, the smells, sounds, the mesmerizing sites. All so stimulating. I can never top this trip if it hadn’t been for our guide Tarek and Cairo Private Tours. Everything was so moving for me. Thank u Tarek for showing us your fascinating country.
