Pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by tour guide to start your tour . The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a workers' village. The site is at the edges of the Western Desert, approximately 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 km (8 mi) southwest of the city center of Cairo.
Khufu's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated.[4][5] The valley temple was connected to a causeway which was largely destroyed when the village was constructed.
Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860.
The Sphinx dates from the reign of king Khafre.[7] During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet and this structure was added onto by later rulers.
Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple.
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms. Built in 1901 by the Italian construction company Garozzo-Zaffarani to a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the edifice is one of the largest museums in the region. As of March 2019, the museum is open to the public. In 2020 the museum is due to be superseded by the new Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza.

• Lovely air conditioned car. • Both driver and guide friendly and approachable. • Seyed Mahmoud (the guide) was very knowledgeable and offered to take lots of pictures for me. He would let me know what the next part of the tour was and if I had no interest, we could skip. When I would ask to sit down for a bit, he would always give me as much time as I needed to recover.
This was a very disappointing start to what was supposed to be a smooth layover tour that I took on 16th Feb 2026. Pickup was scheduled for 9:00 AM. I landed early, informed the company that I was waiting, and was told on whatsapp to come outside the terminal. After exiting, no one was there. I waited **1.5+ hours** before anyone showed up. Support was extremely unhelpful. I kept being told “2 minutes” and “10 minutes” repeatedly, with no real updates, reassurance, or accountability. Standing outside a terminal in a foreign country with no support or clear communication is unacceptable and unprofessional for a tour company. To be fair, the guide who eventually arrived was kind and friendly. However, the experience was already ruined by the chaotic and stressful start. Also, although this was booked as a **private tour**, I later realized the same guide was handling another tour at the same time (different vehicles, different guests). I personally didn’t mind this, but if resources are being split across multiple tours, I would expect transparent pricing or reduced cost. Overall. poor coordination, weak customer support, long delays, and a very stressful experience. The operational side of Emo Tours seriously needs improvement.
Sayed Mahmoud was really good in showing around places , recommend this tour of layover in Cairo. It was indeed a nice trip with all the information about places we visited
It was an incredible day. My guide, Sayed Mahmoud, was super attentive, full of information, and always kind and friendly. We visited the pyramids and the Sphinx in the morning, avoiding the crowds. And the driver, Sahad, was also very friendly and attentive.
Great service, good price. Went with my family and we all had a great time. They picked us up from the airport and we did a pyramid trip. Highly recommend

This was the ideal way to spend a layover in Cairo. Visiting the pyramids was unforgettable, and our driver took care of our luggage while we explored. Our guide, Khadija, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more special. Highly recommend for a quick, hassle-free
