Mohammed was very puctual to pick up us at the hotel. He was no rush or pushed us, just informed the time and let fully enjoyed the pyramids and tombs. He introduced many Egyptian culture and related history of the visited sites in Arabic. (Use translator app) Bery recommended him.
The older pyramids are more interesting and less crowded than the major pyramids. Plus there is no fee to go inside. We saw the red, bent and step pyramids which were very nice to visit. Memphis is not worth the entrance fee so I would not go unless you have a Cairo pass. Would recommend a guide as the driver only does not speak English.
Very good tour, our guide was amazing!! He told us what other tombs to enter to make our experience the best
Both the guide, Ahmed, and the driver were pleasant and professional. I appreciate Ahmed’s enthusiasm and his willingness to share his knowledge.
Pleasant experience, among the wonders of Saqqara, Dashur and Memphis, with the guide Mohammed (called Momo) really prepared and nice! Pretty good buffet lunch. Logistics organization to be reviewed.
Sayed Mahmoud and his driver were great! Made seeing Giza, Saqqara am Memphis easy am memorable!! Highly recommend this tour company!!
Really great tour and guide. We were well looked after by our guide and driver and the pyramids were excellent! Especially being able to go inside. I would try and avoid them stopping at the carpet school in Saqqara as this is really just an upsell by the people that work there.
This day is one I will truly never forget. Despite the fact that I somehow managed to lose my backpack and my wallet three times during the day, my guide Mohamed and driver were unbelievably kind, patient, and supportive. Instead of adding stress, they stayed calm, helped me retrace my steps, reassured me, and made sure I felt safe the entire time. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, bringing every site to life with fascinating history and stories, while my driver was professional, careful, and attentive throughout the journey. As a traveler, moments like these really show the character of the people you’re with — and they both went above and beyond. Thanks to them, what could have been a stressful day turned into a memorable and positive experience. I felt genuinely cared for, safe, and welcomed. I cannot recommend this guide and driver enough — they truly made my day unforgettable.
We hired only the car with driver and it was all perfect. We came to the hotel very promptly and at 7:00 on our request, an hour earlier than what was offered in Viator. We were able to personalize the trip (we didn’t go to Memphis for example) and we were the first to arrive at Dahshur (although if this is the first destination, we better leave at 7:15 because when you arrive it is still closed) and enter the two pyramids alone. Of course, only for the brave since the routes inside the pyramids are physically demanding. We were able to stay as long as we wanted in each place and on the way back he had no problem leaving us in the Coptic Quarter instead of in our hotel. In total we stayed 6 1/2 hours. In both Dahshur and Saqqara admission is paid by card. At each location you have to add a payment of 25 Egyptian pounds for parking.
Must-see places if you are into history, I had a great experience thanks to my tour guide, Entesar. Entesar was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She explained the most important historical highlights of the places we visited in a clear and engaging way, making the tour both fun and educational. And going inside the pyramid was a challenging exercise! Shaima, our driver, was equally professional and very friendly, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey throughout. Together, they created an enjoyable atmosphere that made the entire experience memorable. Highly recommended!
