Nice tine. The staff was great and very attentive to our needs. The food was bland and unfortunately, it made my sick.

We had a very nice family dinner on the boat. Food was delicious and good variety Not many opinions for desserts though But overall great experience

Food was exceptional, and plentiful. It was a wet night when we went, but the Cairns night lights were still lovely. Troy Stevens, a saxophonist, was the entertainer on board. He was fabulous, absolutely next level. This cruise is definitely worth doing.

The booking was a sunset cruise. We left in the dark so you really only see the harbour lights which kind of ruins the experience before you start. The food was brilliant—especially the seafood but when it came to dessert, we checked to see if we would be told to go up table by table. A server said yes and 'dont worry you won't miss out' but we were the only side to actually be informed by a staff member we could go and when we finally got there, there was scraps of a fruit platter and a few pieces of cheese left. The other 2 tables got nothing. My husband then asked about dessert and they said there was no more (2 staff members) and a third said they would check. Chef's made more which made the kids next to us happy but it was a real hassle. Staff would do better to place signage saying "1 item per person" because people were stacking so many on their plates. We feel like we paid a decent chunk of money just to eat dinner which we could have done at Dundees on the waterfront for less money.

Fantastic vessel and food was excellent. On board entertainment was a fantastic saxophone player who was very entertaining.

It is important that people know that weather conditions affect what can be done on deck. Otherwise it was very entertaining.

All I can say what a great night wine on arrival plenty of space to move around staff was wonderful and food was amazing then dessert love love ate too much but a wonderful evening and would recommend

Very relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of food. Our table favourite was the beef in red wine 😋 Loved the cocktails too! Lovely way to spend the evening.

I went on the Spirit of Cairns dinner cruise on Monday 22 June. Departure was 6.15 and we returned at 8.45 – 2 1/2 hours. Because it was mid-winter, it was completely dark and apart from the city lights, we couldn’t see a thing. We were pleasantly entertained on board by a man with a guitar. We were advised that the buffet would be table by table, but that there was plenty of food for everyone. Our table was the very last to be called up and there was quite a few items that were empty – so that meant that staff were not monitoring what was available. Two of the three salads – empty, two of the three hot dishes – empty – no beef, no barramundi – just the chicken, which was warm, and not hot. We waited for the beef to be brought out, but gave up on the barramundi. A few oysters and prawns were tucked away at the end of the line. When it came for the dessert, that was different, as it was anyone, anytime. The fruit board was excellent, but the cheese “board” was only one type. The “apple crumble” cheesecake was just a thick sauce, not baked or even gelatine based, with some very sweet stewed apple in the middle. The crew were pleasant and it was quite a nice evening, but was it worth the cost of $145.00 a head? Certainly not, there was nothing special with the food, maybe at half the price at $72.50, and that would really be the upper limit. Maybe in summer when you could see where we sailed, but in winter, when it’s dark, you might as well be still docked!
