We were delighted with our tour guide, Delta, and her deep knowledge of Mexican culture, history and art. The designs and symbols of the magnificent graves were explained well, and to orient us even more, Delta sang with a very lovely voice a few lines from a well known deceased composer. From there, we walked and talked over to the museum and hydraulic structure, Carcamo de Dolores, and were given an extensive lecture on the murals of Diego Rivera, his sculpture/fountain design, Tlaloc, and how the resource of water continues to be a grave concern in modern life. The cablebus ride was amazing and a great view of the city!
It was a unique experience, Jaime explained in detail each of the stops we made and solved all our doubts, I would definitely return.
Excellent guide, master the topics very well. It made the tour enjoyable. It was a very good experience, because although I had passed through these places I did not know about their relevance and history. There is no doubt that Mexico City has many places left to discover and learn.
I loved the tour, it was great to explore parts of the city that I did not know and that can be intimidating, like the Pantheon. I also loved the complement of Carcamo and noticed a lot the knowledge about muralists and the art of that place. 100% recommended!
This is a great tour. It is nice to see a quieter side of Mexico City. Jorge was our tour guide and he did a great job explaining the lives of the people buried in the national cemetery. If you have the time, you should go on this tour.
My host was Jim and it was an amazing experience as even though I am Mexican I did not know this section of the beautiful Chapultepec Forest and how much the Pantheon offers is a beautiful place architecturally and for the personalities that there are rest is enigmatic and Carcamo is a wonderful place. Thank you Jim for your clear and interesting explanations. Now I'll take my family on this tour soon
