Along the way, Dan shares personal insights about Romanian history and everyday life, while Patricia curates an authentic food experience that reflects local traditions and flavors. Guests often describe the experience as feeling like spending time with friends, combining conversation, culture, and delicious home-style food. A highlight of the experience is visiting a lesser-known traditional restaurant preserved in an authentic 1980s-style atmosphere, a place most visitors would not find on their own. Departure in front of the Roman Athenaeum, the most beautiful building in Bucharest, built in 1888.
Stop for 15 minutes and explanations about the Royal Palace, the Balcony where the Revolution started and the Statue of King Carol
Visit to one of the most beautiful and old monasteries in Bucharest. Stop for 10-15 minutes and visit inside. Here lives ten nuns and you can see the monastery inside

5-minute stop at the headquarters of CEC, the oldest bank in Romania, built in the 19th century in French style

An amazing tour filled with wonderful information and excellent food. We received a great overview of Bucharest and Romanian history. We would never have found the food spots on our own. Definitely recommend!

This tour was absolutely wonderful. We had delicious and authentic Romanian food from places only locals would know about, and the hosts took us through historical sites in Bucharest, some food-oriented and some not, and told us about their personal experiences with events in the country's recent history. Highly recommend!!
