Fun show that highlighted...

Fun show that highlighted the culture and many regions of Brazil. It was fast paced and the dancing and singing was enjoyable. Two-hour dinner was one hour too long, the wait was not worth it.

Captivating Culture Cut Short

This is an immersive and educational cultural expression of the history of Samba and Brazilian culture through dance and music, blending new and old genres. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of the event. The dress code is casual but I’d encourage attendees to dress celebratory to make it special. The Roxy theater is ornate and good for photo ops. The food was underwhelming though they tried to present it as upscale dining. Portions were small and selections limited any expanded options were on the pay per item menu. Beverages on the menu didn’t include all options, and you had to ask for water at a price.. The servers were disorganized and seemed to be distracted by the on-going seating as guest arrived. The theater experienced a power outage during the last 30 minutes of the show. There was little communication about what happened but it was clear after 10 minutes that it could not be fixed. Performers came out and did a final dance number that was clearly modified to close the night quickly. The show was scheduled to end at 11:30 and we left the theater at 11:05. Though apologetic there was no offer of a credit or voucher for not receiving what we paid for.

Great show full of the vibrancy of Brazil.

The show was great with the vibrancy of Brazil. The meal was average but overall well worth doing. The pre show started at 7.30pm with main event at 9.30pm, this was confusing as the ticket said 6.00pm start.

Beware: Just a show- no dinner

There was no dinner. This activity is extremely deceptive. We arrived almost 2 hours before the show to find out we didn’t pay for dinner-just a show that didn’t start until 9pm. We would have gladly paid extra for a “DINNER” Show had we known our $134USD ticket only included a drink and some nuts. It was humiliating and disappointing. For another $139-$175 USD you could upgrade to dinner. But I suggest simply going to the show’s website and purchasing your choice of ticket packages. They’re much more reasonable. All you’re paying for here is transportation to a show. I was so insulted and offended that I turned my back during the entire show. My sister really wanted the experience and I stayed with her. But I had been offended by purchasing tickets that said dinner was included, only to find out upon arrival there was no dinner included. This was blatantly false advertising. However they claimed it wasn’t and was a simple misunderstanding. I rarely write bad reviews. But this was an awful experience.

Roxy Dinner show Sep 2025

The show was amazing. Pickup was on time. The venue is very classy and the food is very good. Drinks are reasonably priced. It is a show of the diversity in Brazilian culture thru dance and music on par with Disney or Broadway shows. Only snag is the Viator tickets do not work for the show and there was miscommunication from Viator to the company which was eventually OK. Strongly recommend

Great dinner and show!

Fantastic show and excellent dinner. the admission process was a little difficult because the admission person would NOT accept the electronic ticket Viator sent. Luckily, we had downloaded to our phone the documents sent by the show.
