A really nice time had at Bombay Sapphire - the tour was well worth the money. Although having done this in the past the botanicals room used to be bigger and better - you would get a card and mark the smells and tastes you liked - then the bar staff would mix a cocktail based on your preferences. Now it’s a bit different - you have a gin and tonic (fun to dispense via button in the wall!) to start the tour and you watch a video. Different and fun, I just preferred the old version.
Wel paced tour, very informative. I did think the explanation in the Still Room was hampered by the limited view of the equipment, poor acoustics and maintenance scaffolding. I only really saw and understood the operation of the still itself. How/where the botanicals were added could not be seen and nor could the condenser. Or anything on the platform above.
We had an excellent afternoon, Lovely old buildings which used to be a printing works back in the day. Amanda our guide was informative and a pleasure to listen to. The G+T to begin with was lovely,to sit and sip whilst watching the Bombay Sapphire informative video, which you start with. The bar is worth a visit to try other cocktails that the team make. We had a toasted sandwich for lunch which was also enjoyable. Exit via the shop, new gin glasses brought 👌🏻. Great way to spend three odd hours, tour and drinking gin 👌🏻👌🏻

Fascinating tour around the grounds of the Bombay Sapphire distillery, with a great tour guide Luke. The way the buildings have been renovated and enhanced is lovely and the botanical experience was delicious.
We're so pleased you had such a great tour with Luke and enjoyed learning about all the botanicals that go into making our gin! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
We had a really enjoyable tour. Our guide made us feel very welcome and was very knowledgeable about the production process but she also gave some great fascinating insights about the surroundings and the historic buildings of the distillery. Well worth it!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review. We're so pleased you had a great tour with us and enjoyed learning all about Bombay Sapphire. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Deeply Unpleasant Experience. I organised a tour for my husband on 4th January 2026. The temperature outside was minus 4 degrees. The tour began in a freezing cold theatre, where we were shown a short film about the history of the buildings and then we had the “cocktail making experience” - a gin and tonic making class - plenty of ice… Then we proceeded outside by to look at the old buildings - India House - closed for maintenance and cleaning. Joy came then due to a visit inside the Glass houses - heated by fan heater. Off we were taken to the Botanicals room . I had to actually step outside ( -4 degrees) in order to warm up a bit in the weak wintry sun ! I asked the guide why it was so terribly cold everywhere to which he replied that the Stills are always turned off for 10 days over Christmas due to cleaning / maintenance .They provide all the heat for the Distillery. This is an annual occurrence . The sales team must be aware of this , yet they continue to sell tickets to the unsuspecting public. This is Disgraceful. I think there must be a Duty of Care to the customers…? Frankly , they are very lucky not to have had any Casualties due to the conditions they provide. A week ago I wrote directly to the Distillery in order that they could possibly explain and apologize for the dreadful situation. I have had no response from them. The young staff were all bundled up in coats inside the cafe and the shop. Surely another Health and Safety issue ?

Premium hospitality for a premium brand. Very successful brand marketing venue. Honest and up front. Well worth a visit. Life is good! (I was already a customer and enjoy a crisp fragrant G&T - not sure about filling the glass with ice though) 🍸🍹

We had a lovely afternoon on a tour of the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. From a yummy G&T to start whilst watching a film in their super comfy cinema, learning the history of the site, to a fabulous tour with Luke and ending in the bar to sample an unusual cocktail … who knew you could mix gin with so many different things! We’re definitely coming back to do the cocktail masterclass! All the team are really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend a visit.
A very informative fun tour. Lots of history and a detailed explanation of the function of the mill, and the production of their gin. Our tour guide, mark, was friendly and very knowledgeable and presented the information in a high spirited enthusiastic manner.
