Very nice tour to explore outside of bologna. Would recommend if you like wine and cheese as all of the tastings include these. Definitely a good way to see some cultural practices.
Roberta was amazing. She made sure the whole tour including myself had a great time. I would love to tour with her again!
Lucca was a great enthousiastic guide who knew a lot about the food and the city. We had a great experience in a small group of 12 people.
The tour with Valentina F. was excellent. She is a very pleasant, prepared, and passionate guide for what she does. She explained everything to us in a clear and interesting way, and the experience was very complete and enjoyable. In addition, the value for money seemed very good to me. I totally recommend it.
Valentina F. Was a great guide, very friendly and informed. Lasted about 8h but didn’t feel too long - well-paced. It could be cheaper imo, but comparible tours are priced the same.
Valentina F was a fantastic guide. She was very good at explaining things and also brought a lot of great energy to the day. I felt well looked after and enjoyed my experience. I strongly recommend people booking this tour to gain more knowledge on the hosts and culture in Modena
Great itinerary and amazing guide (Val Fabbri was so good). Wish there was more technical info from the processes.
Valentian Fabbri was really great! Amazing stops and learned a lot about local foods. Valentina was very knowledgeable and friendly!
We had more fun than expected on this trip! The tour guide and the group of people that went with us made the experience very enjoyable. And the activities we did were each different so we felt like we got to do a lot of different stuff in one trip, and really experience the area. The Parmesan Factory was really interesting and it was fun to be so close to the process. Then we did a balsamic tasting and learned a lot about the way true balsamic artisans make the product. Next was a unique wine tour where we learned all about the local wine. It was extra interesting because we got to taste multiple samples of the same grape that were made into different wines so it really helped us understand the impacts of the process. It all culminated in a fun lunch with authentic food and more wine. We loved each spot that we visited so much so we bought something from each stop. We would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. We even made it a day trip and took the train early that morning from Florence!
The best part of the tour was our guide, Luca. It’s clear that he loves his job and his native Bologna. We had more food that we could eat. We taste every local delicacy including wine.
