Embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park! Our comfortable, air-conditioned minivan will pick you up directly at your Prague hotel at a pre-arranged time. As you cruise along the Elbe Canyon towards the majestic Bastei Bridge, our knowledgeable and entertaining guide will share fascinating insights about the passing landmarks, bringing the region's history and beauty to life.
Experience Bastei, the crown jewel of Saxon Switzerland! Explore several breathtaking viewpoints, among which the most stunning overlooks the Elbe Canyon, the largest sandstone canyon in Europe. From a height of 190 meters above the river, behold the beauty of Saxon Switzerland National Park - the table mountains of Lilienstein and Königstein with its impregnable fortress. Then walk across this magnificent Bridge perched high above the river Elbe. This awe-inspiring landmark holds the distinction of being the first tourist attraction in the region, constructed in 1851 to connect the rocky peaks with Neurathen Fortress. Prepare to be marveled by its architectural wonder!
Sandstone towers and the Neurathen castle ruins will remind you of the golden age of this medieval place. We will walk you around, show you all viewpoints and point out the best photo spots.
After exploring Bastei Bridge and Neurathen Fortress, we'll embark on a scenic drive through the Elbe River Canyon to the Czech side of the National Park - Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
(Not available from November to March) The 2km hike navigates us to the Pravcicka Gate. Approaching it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.
You need to recharge your batteries, so the next stop will be a traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. A rich "a la carte" lunch will be a welcome and well-deserved reward. Traditional Czech and international dishes are served (including vegetarian options). We highly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world. This restaurant is very popular with the locals and has the best reputation in Bohemian Switzerland. We are always very welcome at this restaurant and we have a pre-booked table in the best place that will be waiting for you ready before our arrival. In addition, we have an advantage over other guests in the kitchen, so the wait for food is significantly shorter.
Then we will drive you into the Tisa Rocks labyrinth, where Chronicles of Narnia was filmed. The rock city with lots of towers, small squares and mysterious corners will win you over with its captivating beauty. Anyone who ventures into the bowels of the rocks to enjoy the extraordinary charm of natural beauty will be rewarded with a nice experience. And as you know, no one can take the experience away from you.
After an amazing day exploring Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland, we'll head back to Prague for a relaxing ride. Chat with fellow adventurers, share your favorite photos, and unwind after a day of adventure. We'll arrive back in Prague comfortably, ensuring a perfect ending to your unforgettable trip.

The tour was not informative. I learned nothing about the places we visited. The food at restaurant where we had lunch could have been much better. The tour generally did not meet my expectations.

Our commentary covers the key highlights of each location, and we always encourage guests to ask questions if they'd like to go deeper on any topic. We'd also like to mention that on this particular day, the group collectively decided to skip the third stop (Tisa Rocks) due to fatigue — which of course we respected. We feel this may have affected the overall experience and the sense of a complete tour. We take all feedback seriously and hope to welcome you on a future tour.

There are 3 hikes involved - first two are beautiful and while the second was 40 min up a mountain it wasn’t that bad. Parts of it were slippery so you need to be careful. Lunch was at a cute place and food was ok. 3rd hike was through woods to look at rock formation and took about an hour and a half. The entire day from pick up to drop off was 12 hours not 10 as advertised. I personally would have preferred to do just the first two hikes - the 3rd was slow and long. Tour guides were very nice.

Ellie and Monica were fantastic. Really enjoyed them. However I believe for Americans taking this tour you need more information. It should be clear that this is a strenuous hike and involves climbing up a steep pathway about 2km on the second stop. I dressed completely wrong today as I did not realize the extent of the hiking. The info I was provided was not sufficient to explain what the day involved. As mentioned, tour staff were wonderful.

A visit to three places in a national park on the German-Czech border. Involves quite a bit of hiking up and down hills. I logged over 8 miles for the trip, however you can skip the walk up to the natural arch which was most of the walking. Great views of sandstone formations, the Elbe River, a natural arch and limestone formations. The trip included a good lunch, snacks and water.

We had an amazing day with our guide Adam in Bohemian Switzerland national park. Adam worked hard to make sure our whole experience was comfortable. He had a lot of knowledge about the history in the area. This tour goes to three locations in a short time but I didn't feel rushed in any of them. The best part for me was the final stop and different ways that Adam worked hard to make sure everyone was having fun. Also, lunch was sooooo good! And in a gorgeous location.
