Itinerary

10 min

Both at the departure and arrival of the boat ride, travelers will be able to enjoy the views of Fornells Bay, as well as stroll through its streets. Small fishing village with great gastronomic tradition.

Pass by

During the walk we will pass near Cabo de Cavalleria, where we can see its characteristic Lighthouse, one of the most peculiar and the second oldest on the island. With its cliffs more than 90 meters high, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of the north coast.

Pass by

As we pass by the Cavalleria Lighthouse, we can see an islet called "Illa des Porros", the northernmost point of the Balearic archipelago, an area of special importance and protection due to the colonies of birds and the native lizards that inhabit it.

Pass by

Absolutely virgin cove, with limestone rock and crystal clear waters that allow you to clearly observe the seabed, and which has the peculiarity of being divided into three small areas of sand.

Pass by

Puerto de Sanitja, an ancient natural port that was located in the Roman city of Sanisera.

Pass by

Cala Rotja is a great option to find some peace and quiet, especially in the summer months. Its name comes from the remains of red clay that come off its stones and give it this characteristic color.

30 min

It is one of the largest beaches on the north coast of the island. Virgin, surrounded by wild nature and always watched by the Cavalleria Lighthouse. Here we will make the first stop of the excursion, if the sea allows it, to swim, relax and snorkel.

Pass by

Virgin beach little frequented due to its difficult access by land, fine sand with stones, which despite its great beauty, is a beach that goes unnoticed.

30 min

Cala Pregonda is one of the best-known and most appreciated beaches on the north coast of Menorca, of incalculable beauty and surrounded by movie-like landscapes that form a Natural Area of Special Interest. Here we will anchor for approximately 30 minutes and you can swim, snorkel, use our paddle surf boards or simply have a mojito relaxing on board the boat.

10 min

After many surprises during navigation, the route ends in the same place where we started, in the beautiful Port of Fornells.

Very... experience

Highly recommended experience to be able to visit the north coast of Menorca and take a swim in the turquoise waters of the coves. The crew, a delight; kind and very attentive to their passengers. In short, a 10!!!

A wonderful experience to be able to swim on those pristine beaches, we will definitely repeat

I advise having motion sickness pills in case anyone is prone to getting seasick, since there is a stretch where the sea is a bit rough.

An experience not to be missed: sea, beaches, and a fairytale landscape

Magnificent shared boat trip, with about 20 other people. Reservations must be made in advance online on their website, as both the northern coast and the rental service exceed all expectations. Very comfortable and safe boat, suitable for children, ideal route to see more than half of the northern coast, from Fornells, leaving the port to the left, passing under the Cavalleria Lighthouse and then to the beautiful Cala Pregonda. The skipper will explain that the boat passes near the northernmost island of Menorca and will stop two or three times for a group swim. The first stop is definitely at the beautiful Cala Pregonda, which is difficult and tiring to reach by car and then on foot for at least 40 minutes (and another 40 minutes back). So trust Menorca Nord and their experience that will show you dreamlike water at Cala Pregonda, with reddish sand, but also beautiful at Cala Mica and in the caves, full of charm and mysterious stories, along the return route. I spent a little less in May, but even 50 euros in mid-high season are worth the trip and the over 3 hours of navigation and swimming in a fairytale sea.
