Amazing!!! Total darkness, food was delicious, service was great. Great new experience. Worth the try.
This experience was one of the most intriguing, stimulating and conversational meals I’ve ever encountered. From the beginning at the front desk, the lady, shamefully I can’t remember her name, to the walk through and seating with our waitress Angie, it was pleasant exciting and a time to look forward to. They set you up mentally for full ride you were about to encounter. Lol. The food was delicious. Every course was very well seasoned, plated with professionalism and beauty. 🤣How do I know? I carefully used my finger to see the presentation. The powerful flavors that settled in my mouth while I ate and the textures to touch can be quite erotic. Explosive moments of flavors. As a highly sensitive person and foodie, my mouth was happy. The game play of this experience I give 10/10. FOR REPEAT GUEST: They should consider ways to level up the experience. Now that I know what to expect, the experience would still be nice but may not have a surprise factor that I enjoyed as my eyes ATTEMPTED to adjust to the pitch blackness. Can’t wait to go back to try and figure out the next menu of food that would be having a party in my mouth. LOL I do Highly recommend everyone to try it.
This was such a great date night activity, I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends. The experience is completely pitch black which made the dining experience that much more fun. Our server was really friendly and made us feel really comfortable. Before each course she explained what was in front of us (without giving away what the food was) and how best to enjoy that course. The food was all plant based which my partner was worried about not enjoying as he is a meat lover, but we both enjoyed it a lot! The food was tasty, and extremely filling…we had trouble making it to dessert! It was well worth the money.
Really interesting and unique dinner. Food was good, right amount of food, and very cool experience to be completely in the dark. Would do again.
Let me start by saying: I’m a keynote speaker, a mom of five, and a woman who does not scare easily. But give me a pitch-black room, a three-course meal, and absolutely zero visibility... and suddenly, I’m questioning my life choices while stabbing a fork into what I hope is polenta. This was Dining in the Dark Las Vegas, and yes, it was completely blacked out. No candles. No glow sticks. Not even the faint blue hue of a nearby exit sign. Just me, my husband Justin, our server who introduced himself by voice only, and a whole lot of trust. The experience starts with you checking your phone (physically locked away), signing a waiver (a bit dramatic but okay), and being led into a room that somehow feels like a blackout training exercise meets couples therapy meets date night. But once you adjust? It's… kind of incredible. You rely on your other senses... taste, smell, touch, and yes, your partner’s commentary as they try to guess what you're both eating. The food itself? Surprisingly elegant. No gimmicks, no “weird for weird’s sake” moments. Just thoughtfully crafted dishes that feel elevated, even if you're blind-guessing what they are. And the wine pairings? Honestly, they hit harder when you're in total darkness... something about the removal of distraction makes you pay attention to the notes. Or maybe that was just the third glass talking. There’s something deeply vulnerable about being completely in the dark... and still choosing to show up, be present, and trust the process. It’s something I talk about in leadership all the time: letting go of control to gain a deeper experience. Here, the metaphor was literal. We had no control. And we still connected, laughed, whispered like teenagers at a slumber party, and left feeling more alive than when we came in. Is It for Everyone? No. If you're a picky eater or a control freak, this might be a sensory overload nightmare. But if you're someone who loves an experience... especially one that forces you to slow down, be present, and experience food in a whole new way... this is for you. Final Thoughts? It was bizarre. It was hilarious. It was unforgettable. And in a city built on overstimulation, Dining in the Dark Las Vegas delivered something entirely unexpected: stillness. In the dark, we found presence. In the silence, we found connection. And in the unknown, we found dessert. (Eventually.) Would I do it again? Yes.
The vibe was unique. It was a cool and relaxing environment as you came in and was greeted. It was thoroughly explained how things would go. They guided us in safely and explained everything. The food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Our waitress was a REAL one and she made us some bomb mocktails! If you are on the fence, let me help you. DO IT!!! It is a rather new and out of your comfort zone experience, but well worth it!
Hands down, one of the most awesome things I’ve ever done. Not being able to see literally anything really brought out all of the other senses and not having to rely on the sense I rely on the most was fascinating. The food was delicious. The staff were great. Special thank you to our waiter Hunter.
If you’re in Las Vegas and looking for something truly out of the ordinary, Blackout Dining in the Dark is a must-try experience. It’s one of those activities that you’ll remember for a lifetime and one I can’t recommend enough for vegans, non-vegans, and adventurous foodies alike! 🌌 The Experience Dining completely in the dark was mind-blowing—it’s unlike anything else we’ve ever done. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was intriguing. Once you’re seated in pitch-black darkness, your senses come alive. Without sight, every bite becomes an exploration of flavor and texture, and we found ourselves guessing (and often laughing) about what we were eating. Spoiler alert: we struggled to identify some dishes, which added to the fun! Pro Tip: If you arrive early and happen to be the first ones seated, the experience feels even more exclusive and immersive. It’s like the entire space is yours to explore through taste and sensation - you may panic as I first did (just be aware). 🍴 The Food The food was absolutely delicious. While the portions were on the smaller side, we both left satisfied and not at all hungry. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were exceptional. It’s impressive how much effort goes into creating dishes that delight your taste buds while leaving you guessing. 🙌 The Service The staff was wonderful! They guided us through the process with ease and made sure we felt comfortable in the dark. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. 📍 The Location Conveniently located not too far from the Strip, it’s easy to include this in your Vegas itinerary. Whether you’re staying on the Strip or nearby, the short trip is absolutely worth it. 💡 Final Thoughts Dining at Blackout is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that engages all your senses and challenges the way you think about food. It’s fun, adventurous, and perfect for anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone. Whether you’re vegan or not, this is an experience everyone should try at least once. Book your reservation and prepare for an unforgettable evening. You won’t regret it! 🌌🍽️✨
The food. The fact they gave my husband a rose to give to me for our 25th anniversary . My husband who does not like vegetables or vegan food liked it. The only draw back for me is when I called to tell them my husband is allergic to lamb. The lady that returned my call instead of saying ok . No problem. Said to me you don’t have to worry about that all of our meals are plant based there is no meat. Kind of ruined my suspense and hipe of the meal. I worried for 24 hours if it was actually going to be good and it turned out to be great and a lot of fun.
Was a really fun time! I thought the food was really good and I was definitely full by the last course! It did take over 2 hours to complete, so settle in for the experience!
