High above the roof tops of the city of Mozart, the evening begins with a GOLDEN VIP Dinner in the Panorama Restaurant at the famous Fortress. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the city and the beauty of the landscape, surrounded by majestic mountains. After the dinner you will experience a top classical concert. Listen to some of Mozarts most popular works, like "A little Nightmusic", as well as other great masters of music, performed by internationally renowned musicians. During Advent and Christmas time you also listen to traditional Salzburg Advent and Christmas music. Individual tables at dinner in the Panorama Restaurant! Your table will be allocated according to the number of people booked, except 23.-25.12. In case of fine and suitable weather conditions, the VIP Dinner is served on the panoramic terrace. Fortress Funicular (Festungsgasse 4) ascent & descent (no pick-up at the station). After ascending with the funicular to the Fortress, the Panorama Restaurant is located on the right side at the exit. At this unique location you enjoy your dinner with marvelous views to Salzburg City and its surroundings. Unbelievable night! Felt like a princess having a VIP Dinner on the terrace of the fortress. The concert was incredible and even the wonderful musicians had their own personalities. It was definitely the highlight of our trip!
The dinner was wonderful and the view was exceptional. The concert brought me to tears. Everything about the evening was more than expected.
The scenery, venue, and music were exquisite. We went during the latest heat wave which made the dinner uncomfortable, but the staff did their best to ensure it was bearable.

The Mozart Concert and dinner was a lovely evening. The atmosphere at Hohensalzburg was perfect. The dinner was excellent, and there was much wine poured! Most outstanding was the string quartet that played. They were a cohesive, energetic and engaging group. This experience is one that we will remember for a long time.

Very nice dinner with great view from the dining room, and entertaining concert. The price for the VIP dinner was a little high. It included front row tickets to the concert but the venue is small and the acoustics good so it's of questionable value.
