Start your tour passing by the Salzburg city center with its beautiful baroque townscape
Before you cross the German Border, pass by the heart-chakra of Europe – Untersberg this fascinating landmark spell-bounding since centuries with its mythical power, Hitler even chose to build his headquarters at the Obersalzberg, so he could see the Untersberg every day.
Arrive at the mountainside hamlet of Obersalzberg. Snake up the scenic road on a brief shuttle ride, enjoy breathtiking views of spectacular Alpine mountain ranges and deep blue Kings Lake. Then, debark and step inside a World War II-era elevator made from brass, which once transported Hitler’s guests to the Eagle’s Nest. At the top, bypass the crowds with a direct access ticket and enter the complex. Built for Hitler’s 50th birthday, wander the site with your guide, learning the history behind it as you go. Soak up the incredible views as you look out from a perch of some 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) above ground.
Afterward, visit the charming Alpine town of Berchtesgaden. Explore independently this picturesque historic center and make sure to try some local specialties during your stay. You'll also pass by the Schloss Berchtesgaden.

A really awesome project experience that I was looking forward to! The views were incredible and Alenka was phenomenal guide. She was super knowledgeable, and Mr Eval was a fantastic driver (the roads are very narrow & windy! The town of Berteschgarden was also a nice treat in the tour package.

The whole experience was very good, the tour guide was quite knowledgeable and amenable. And very informative
To be avoided at all costs! A fee of 35€ per adult (and paid parking) to access a restaurant on a summit, with no historical interest; the only interest is the view, provided it is clear, which was not the case for us. A strong impression of being taken for fools! In conclusion, it is an overpriced shuttle.

This was a great tour for some amazing views from Eagles Nest. Our guide was great and provided a lot of history of Salzburg and of the Eagles Nest and surrounding area. Very well organized and planned. Had a great time walking around and eating in Berchtesgaden. A quick stop but plenty of time to check out some shops and stop for lunch.

While this tour made visiting the Eagle’s Nest very simple, it is definitely not worth the $100+ it costs, it wouldn’t even be worth half that. The Eagle’s Nest itself is a glorified cafeteria with a great view of the — not a historical site, nor museum. Of course, this is not the fault of the tour service. However, for such a price one would think they would make it worthwhile. We witnessed other tours utilizing flip books displaying photos of the past, and other guides discussing the history. Our guide hardly told us any history. This was basically a transport service, but definitely not worth the cost. If you MUST see the Eagle’s Nest this is not a terrible option, but if I could do it again I would most likely rent a car for a lesser price than this tour.

Our tour to the Eagles Nest was absolutely fabulous! We booked directly with Panorama Tours and everything could not have gone better. Our tour guide was incredible and you could tell that he absolutely loves his job and sharing his knowledge.

a unique experience. Glad the tickets could be purchased online. The pickup went smoothly. In the eagle's nest it was a bit unclear, I didn't get to see all the rooms because the guide had probably already started explaining before we were upstairs.
