Roberto, a delight. We were in Kyoto for a few days and decided to hire him as a guide since he spoke Spanish and he did not disappoint us. He knew a lot about Japan, he helped us so much when it came to getting around by subway and train, he recommended places to us, and on top of that, he took photos of us. A very kind, very friendly, and very grateful man. He took us to spectacular places and honestly, one could not be happier. He adapted the tour exactly to what we wanted. We hope to return to Japan and see you again.
We do not have enough words to express our gratitude for how incredible our tour of Kyoto was. Roberto is a wonderful person and has great knowledge about the city; thanks to him, we have learned a lot about the history and fascinating curiosities of each place we visited. His kindness and the immense love he puts into his work are evident in every detail: he even took beautiful photos and a personalized video for us to remember. Moreover, his dedication goes far beyond his schedule, as he even helped and advised us for activities we would do later, when he would no longer be with us. Without a doubt, an unforgettable day thanks to him. Totally recommended!
Definitely a great guide; that's why I rate him so high. He has been concerned with even the smallest detail, offering totally personalized attention. His extensive career in Japan (over 25 years) means that his experience exceeds that of any ordinary guide. He is a master of Japanese culture, a professional in his work and a great lover of Japanese customs. You can see that he loves what he does and that he transmits it with real affection. Thanks for everything!!!

My husband and I were with Roberto: the best guide we have ever had!! He is an amazing professional, explains great, super nice, as well as being very nice. He even made us an amazing video of the whole day! We really recommend it 100% and will do it with all our acquaintances. We already have a friend in Kyoto!
Just the experience was wonderful. Roberto has made us a guide, a historian, has been very attentive to us, our needs and very friendly. We have learned a lot with all the explanations he has been giving us. We have been very comfortable with it, and as a plus it has helped us with topics that go beyond the guide, such as trains and buses that we had to catch the next day among other things. Certainly much of the experience we have and will have in Kyoto will be owed to him.
The best tour guide in Kyoto. He explained each visit in all kinds of detail (history, context, anecdotes, curiosities...etc). I had everything planned and it showed, he gave us an unforgettable day and we will repeat without hesitation when we return to Japan, a 10 out of 10
Roberto is an excellent tour guide. It is very punctual, we answered the doubts at all times. He explained the visit accompanied by his Ipad very well, which made it much easier to understand the story. It is a very detailed and friendly tour guide. Best in all of Japan. I'll repeat with him another time we get back. A 10/10‐️
We had Roberto as a guide for two days in Kyoto and it was the best decision of our trip. In his explanations you can see the passion he feels for his work, they are very clear and also with his recommendations we were able to live experiences out of the ordinary. He was very attentive throughout, helped us in everything and had many details with us. We'll definitely pick him again when we get back.
Roberto has been a great guide, in addition to explaining everything phenomenal, he has given us alternatives to the excursion that was scheduled, as it rained a lot. He is a friendly, well documented, friendly and resourceful guide. Highly, highly recommended.
