Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour

Marco is amazing ! He is a complete and utter expert and brought Egypt to life for us. As a scholar, he gave us a very detailed insight, took us to great places to view away from the crowds and took care of all our needs. He and Mohammed the driver were a fabulous team and we enjoyed their company. I would highly recommend Marco as a tour guide.

Our guide Essam was the best tour guide I have had in my life. Patient, with expert knowledge, he packed information into small bites so that we could understand and remember what he taught. His enthusiasm for the subject was infectious. Our driver, too, Ayman, was great ( and fun!), pointing out the best spots to take photos. Very careful driver. We felt very safe.

Getting a tour with Nevin will make you feel like a celebrity!!!! As you walk through the Pyramids area, she knows every guard and every entrance — we felt like we had cracked the code for the best seamless experience. She had so much knowledge, answers to every question, and took the best pictures of us! Lunch was delicious and vegetarian!

We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum with Nevin. As we only had limited time in Cairo, it was the perfect way to see all the key sights without feeling rushed. Nevin’s extensive local network and experience made the whole day completely hassle-free. She knew exactly which entrances to use and the best times to visit each site, helping us avoid the crowds and skip queues wherever possible. It made such a difference to the experience. She was warm, entertaining and easy to spend the day with, and gave us a real flavour of local life in Cairo. A real highlight was introducing us to the tastiest falafel and foul medames we’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Cairo and want a guide who is knowledgeable, well connected, organised and genuinely cares about giving you the best possible experience, we couldn’t recommend Nevin more highly. She made what could have been an overwhelming day completely seamless, and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

We enjoyed a very memorable day out at the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Niven is a very knowledgable guide; she knows all the best photo spots, all the best camel rides and everything there is to know about the history of these fantastic places. Most of all, she has a lovely knack of helping us just enjoy the experience. My daughter and I were collected at our hotel around 8:30am, as part of a small group of 5 for the day. We drove directly to the pyramids, then camel rides, sphinx and onto the GEM. She dealt with all the entrance fees and tickets, including lunch at a local perfumery. She apparently knows everybody, and we felt in very safe hands. Cairo is a big bustling city but because of her it was not at all intimidating. I loved how she explained some of the archeology as we were walking round the pyramid complex, then tied it into what we saw in the GEM. The museum is remarkable - my favourite exhibits were the Nile river boats and, of course, the Tutankhamun exhibition. If you only do one thing in Cairo - this is the thing to do. It was a full day, and the break in the middle for some lunch was v welcome. We returned to the hotel around 5pm. This is the 3rd time I’ve booked a tour with Niven and I’m already looking forward to next time I’m in Cairo. She’s very responsive to WhatsApp enquiries and I thoroughly recommend her.

We had the most amazing time on the tour with Hassan Ghanem as our guide. He was so knowledgable and shared fascinating history with us as well as navigated around the sites with ease! We had a perfect length of time in each location with plenty of breaks when we needed it. Hassan was also kind enough to arrange for the provided lunch to be gluten free for my allergy, he was so diligent and respectful. I would recommend this tour to anymore and could not have asked for a nicer guide for our day.

Nevin, our Tour Guide was amazing from PickUp through to Dropoff. We received so much information on Cairo, The Pyramid and Grand Museums and accomdated to our pace. Nevin accomdated to all my Family needs

If you don’t have Nevin Morris, as your tour guide I feel like you may miss something. She was on top of everything from the vip treatment getting picked up in her personal car from the hotel, to the exclusive parking privileges at the pyramids and much more. We were stopped by guards to let us know that she was the best tour guide ever. But besides all that very great tour. She is very knowledgeable on everything that we went too. The pyramids were always on my bucket list since 3rd grade and I’m so happy to have gone with my brother and have Nevin Morris as our guide. Highly recommended. Pro tip bring chocolate 🍫 and or little bottles of alcohol from the plane. They will go very far also bring some small usd currency for small gestersnto some of the places you go to

I had a wonderful few hours out with Nevin visiting the pyramids. I was picked up at 0730 and we avoided all the traffic and the crowds. It was like having the pyramids all to ourselves! I only wanted a few hours and wish I had more time to explore Cairo. Next time! Nevin was a pleasure to spend the morning with. A very warm and friendly guide who is very clearly popular with all the people who work at the pyramids. I wouldn’t have wanted to have negotiated all the “extras” that is required for all the people that work at the pyramids. It was nice not to be concerned with all of that and not to be hassled. Highly recommend Nevin!
